Happy Mayday Everyone,

As ever I've been enjoying the fabulous British weather (sarcasm implied!!) think this year "April Showers" was taken to the extreme. Nonetheless spending time with my favourite little kitten and my wonderful boyfriend has kept my spirits up.

This week I'm loving matte nails, I went for a simple style topped off with Rimmel London Pro Matte Finish Top Coat, lovely jubbly. I think the matte finish gives my contrast mani a bit of an edge and makes a change from the standard shiny top coat. And as always here are the products I used to create this look...

At the moment I have a little bit of an obsession with the Fabulously British Jack Wills and lets be honest what's not to love!! Here is a little compilation of some of my fave pieces.

Classic gilet, striped top, skinny jeans and heeled chelsea boots work all year round and oozes effortless, country chic which is a style that's right up my street.

Not-So-Happy Friday..

To top off a pretty crappy week came a pretty crappy Friday as well... So what better way to cheer myself up than blogging away with (500) Days of Summer playing in the background.

This week had me anxiously waiting for these beauties to arrive. Finally on Thursday River Island put me out of my misery needless to say I haven't looked back since and they look just as cute on as they do in this picture :)

Another fabulous purchase of what could only be described as a miserable Thursday; after it having rained the majority of the day, was another of the Models Own nail pens, this time in black and Models Own Hed Kandi in Balearic Cool. Despite it taking three coats to get an even coverage it is a beautiful, vibrant colour and I highly recommend it!! I think it's safe to say I am becoming more and more obsessed with nail art; with the likes of WAH Nails, their stunning designs and marriage made in heaven collaboration with Models Own to create these nail pens, who wouldn't be suffering with a little Obsessive Compulsive Nail Painting Disorder ;) with these tools at hand and a little inspiration I introduce to you my second nail art creation....

Too cute right?! and they totally match the new additions to my wardrobe :)

True to form writing this blog and sharing some fabulous things from my not-so-fabulous week has well and truly turned my frown upside down! So feeling a little more positive and a lot more tired I shall bid you adieu!! I'm off to finish watching my film and consume a rather large cup of tea (after all tea solves everything!!)

Hello again lovelies,

Yet another days productive shopping done today, as well as getting my new phone woohoo!

how pretty! Other than spending the day wanting to rush home and get my new toy all set up I bought myself a few lovely bits and bobs... Which included my first purchases from Hollister and Superdry (you'd think I'd been living in a hole the past year at this rate!!) oh and Two Door Cinema Club's album, happy happy :)

and finally to top off a rather uneventful and sleepy evening i've compiled a wishlist outfit of other items I (almost) bought today...

rainy days..

Hi all,

In typical British style bank holiday was once again a rainy one; not that it bothered me because I still have another two days until I return to work!! So what to do on a rainy bank holiday.... why indulge in a spot of nail art of course and here is a picture of my first attempt :)

to create this spring look I applied two coats of Barry M in Peach Melba (which for £2.99 gives a lovely even colour) I then used the Models Own Nail Art Pen in White to draw the designs and topped it off with a final layer of Rimmel London Pro Super Wear Top Coat. Fingers crossed this lasts at least a few days but I can't wait to get creating some more adventurous designs!

Today I'm off shopping so will post any fabulous finds!
