July 9th 13:25 — at the end of the eighteen hundreds my great great great grandparents settle at the foot of this mountain. On days like this it all seems pleasant, the daily struggles are distant. The harsh winters, no sunlight for months, storms. Living with no electricity, no road access, no neighbors or local supermarkets. Spending most days cold in a fishing boat. Arctic sea ice within one week sailing. I have no idea what they thought of their existence here, but I admire them.
