In fact, most of it was a curiosity that was odd to understand. Thought remembered vividly memories as to the reason why he was here, the shapes of ruins giving him a small sense of urgency. He didn’t allow such panic to envelope him, a calm washing over his being. It was an abnormal experience, although it would not prevent him from living his days the exact way. Instead of trapped inside a dirty, dusty city, he was able to travel again and witness lush greenery. He searched for a partner immediately; anybody would do under the circumstances they were placed within.
Someone was close enough, though they did not notice Kagerou, a good excuse for him to announce his idea a few feet away. Strangers, stranger, strange. That was his ordeal, and most likely for many others, as well. ”Oh? Now what do we have here! Someone else dropped in such a sadistic place! How cruel! S!” He was enthusiastic, to say the least, ready to breathe fresh air and find mystery in his surroundings,
“What do you suppose we do about this, concerning ourselves of the daily bread will do us nothing but lack the energy to search for it. Well, a suggestion to come is quite easy once you realize there’s not much in these hollow houses! M!” Hands placed at his sides, the grin upon his features was confident and a tad overbearing.
He sounded casual — or the most casual his boastful self could get — about the strange position he, and a magnitude of others, he assumed, were in, as if it was not strange at all for his mind. Already having experienced a happenstance much similar to this situation, he was left with only a few questions and a thoughtful realization that he should learn the routes, the people, and the survival tactics he would require.
However, that would be for later, the presence of the other seeming to take his concentration over to them and the excitement that would be unfolded in exploring.
Moving his hand to give a sign to accompany him, he inquired, ”What do you say of finding something with me, my livestock? Come on!” It wouldn’t hurt to make friends in a place like this, after all.
