I’m really wanting one of my next two costumes to be my own spider-man design. I’ve been doodling variants of this suit for YEARS. I think it’s about one I work on my own to wear.

On top of doodles, I’ve had ideas of how to make this over the years. One thing I liked about homecoming was that it looked like a suit that a kid would make.

As I’m 24, I would be going for something a little more advanced than a teenager’s costume capabilities, but still the same “easy diy” costume vibe.

And as with anything, it’ll develop over the years.

(I’ve always played with the idea of spidey in a hood. The first version might have one because sweatshirts are easy to find and work with tbh)

My next costume will be simpler, but once life settles down and I can save up for materials, spider-man will start to come together!

I’m using Krita, and since day one it does this weird thing where it shoots off these lines where I draw. so often that it’s impossible for me to finish this drawing without growing crazy frustrated.

If anyone has some suggestion to fix this, please let me know.

With nearly everything I need like 20 references and a long ass time and lots of practice. With favorite anime characters I just need to like the anime. - I started Boku no hero Academia last week and I haven’t been able to think about much else ever since. I haven’t been so passionate about an anime since Naruto and that’s really saying something!

Severus Snape. I've loved this character since the HBP book. I remember after mourning Dumbledore for a month, I sat down with the book and came to the conclusion that Snape was a good guy and Dumbledore had to have been begging for death. None of my friends that I told this to believed me, but I did feel very stunned reading The Prince's Tale and seeing that crazily I was right. Years later, Snape is still one of my favorite characters. I've been reading a lot of fan fiction lately and man people do really cool things with this guy.

The punk!kakashi outfit is coming along (sadly not in time for Halloween). In the future I really want to find a pugs not drugs patch, among other things, to add to this. But I like that it's something I might want to wear around even out of costume. It was also super fun to make ; I kinda want to work on another vest like this with a different theme someday.
