As of today I'm a resident of the District of Columbia! (Well, not legally, but whatever.)

Moving in went fairly smoothly, although I did end up taking a super ugly ID picture because I wasn't supposed to have to get my card today and was unprepared. My hall is in a pretty excellent location and my room is nicer than I expected it to be. I haven't actually met any of the people on my floor yet because the whole building is still pretty empty at the moment.

Fingers crossed that I'll be able to behave like a normal human being when orientation starts tomorrow.

(Also, I'm GIFing Natalie Tran's most recent video right now, so nobody complain that I've only been making personal posts for like the last week ok.)

Oh, I make all of them.

The one that I just posted might look familiar to you because I made one exactly like it once on my last blog, if that's what prompted the question. :P Unfortunately there are a limited number of videos on Natalie Tran's channel and a limited number of GIF-worthy parts in each one, so I have ended up remaking ones from my old blog plenty of times. (Especially because the change in Tumblr's size limit means that the new ones are far better looking.)

Okay people really need to stop messaging me asking:

A) Who "the asian girl" is

B) If they can have my old url

I don't want to be mean to anyone but I seriously get like 10+ messages a day that are all like this, and it gets super tiresome to have to say "her name is Natalie Tran" and "no, I'm going to use it again eventually" over and over and over. I mean at least on my old blog the monotony was occasionally broken up by questions about my GIF tutorial or people asking me "do you have a penis or a vagina," good lord.

I was doing a fairly good job being calm about moving up until today, but now I'm kind of a mess.

What if no one likes me? What if I don't actually get one of the work study jobs I applied for? What if I can't adapt to being in a big school or a big city? What if I somehow get horribly lost and end up falling into an open manhole or some shit?
