Hello, hello! I'm Vexi (she/her, EST, 26 going on 27) and I'm back in my Shiggy era, so I thought I would cook up a brand new writing blog. Here are just a few rules and regulations for interacting with me-- they will be updated and changed as need be:

Minors PLEASE do not interact. I am 26 and due to the nature of Shigaraki as a character, I would prefer to write and engage with other writers in my age range for my own comfort.

I consider myself to be high activity, but I do have a full time job and other hobbies. My muse also tends to ebb and flow with some of my other blogs. Please don't pester me for replies unless it has been about a week so we can touch base.

My Shigaraki is canon divergent and my own personal interpretation of him. I'm not caught up on the anime or manga, but I've seen enough spoilers to get the gist of what happens. That said, I am not affiliated with Kohei Horikoshi or the BNHA rpc or community at large.

There will be dark and triggering themes present on this blog, per the nature of the series and Tomura as a character. I will tag all possible triggers with "tw" but please let me know if you need something additional tagged.

I do not do callouts or petty drama. I also don’t fuck with AI so if you use that or are hateful (racism, transphobia, homophobia, ect.) in any sort of regard, this is not a safe space for you.

I am MUTALS ONLY. I will only engage / respond to writers that are following me and whom I follow back.

I am very OC, AU, and crossover friendly.

I format in small text, using icons on and off with colored tex. I tend to write adv. lit multi-para, but length can fluctuate based on threads-- especially with plotted threads. Please let me know if you need me to change formatting for a thread.

Shipping: I am a shipping whore. That said, I am multi-verse and multi-ship, but chemistry is a big thing for me. Tomura is hard to ship with in most of his verses, so it will take some work! I WILL ONLY SHIP WITH ADULT MUSES AND MUNS.

izuku’s wings flutter excitedly on seeing his half brother return, making a little call to hopefully get him over faster. he runs over on four paws, eventually managing to get onto two very wobbly feet. “you’re back..! niiii!” he’s rather happy to see him.

“Oi, oiiiii. You’re so needy.” He sounds exasperated, but the faint quirk of his scarred lips shows he was anything but. He was in his full draconian form now, ebony talons sinking into the edge of the nest, his crimson eyes staring down at the fluffy hatchling with a rare fondness.

When he was younger, his scales had been an inky black, his eyes a stormy grey. But then the molting happened. His scales itched endlessly, and scratching at them so feverishly with his claws had forced them to shed from his body, exposing a pale silver underneath. His beautiful feathers became dull, falling off his wings and exposing tattered membranes underneath.

By both human and draconian standards, he was ugly. But his baby brother was too dumb— or naive to realize that. “If you keep squawking your head off, you’ll wake the whole neighborhood.” Tomura chuffs, flopping his body unceremoniously into the nest beside the hatchling.

Leadership is…difficult. There’s a weight on his shoulders that doubles with every little choice he makes. It’s like a game, where each decision effects the ending, the outcome.

But unlike a game, there are no options to go back. No save points. Every life lost is lost. There’s no coming back from death in the real world, so he carries that weight too. The weight of those that followed him.

When he was younger, more foolish, he probably wouldn’t have cared as much. But now…?

His red eyes gaze at the younger League member with an unreadable expression. His pupil contracts, then dilates. A camera lens refocusing.

“Yeah?” He asks, his tone unusually soft. “You think so?”

Kurogiri has never understood certain things about Tomura Shigaraki, including his incessant habit of scratching - that itch he sometimes speaks of that never quite goes away. Right now, though, he feels like he finally gets it a little more.

Because Kurogiri, too, itches. Except instead of his skin, it's a burning inside his mind - near impossible to explain, yet impossible to ignore, making him feel like he's on the edge of a cliff or trying to grasp something just out of reach. If he was a bit more aware, a little closer to it, he thinks it'd be a desperate kind of feeling... either way, when he takes in the sight of Tomura, a heart that should no longer beat nonetheless clenches in his chest.

In this moment, he can only think to ask one question.

"But... Shigaraki Tomura... in that moment, what exactly were you thinking?"

He hates this, hates it when Kurogiri speaks to him as if he’s a child. Like he crawled from the womb mere moments ago, has no idea what he’s doing. But he does. Sensei made him what he is, gave him his purpose for a reason.

Sensei has faith in him. That’s all that matters.

“I did what I had to do.” His tone is a tad sharper than he intends, perhaps…but he doesn’t feel any remorse.

Had there been losses? Yes. More than he’d care to admit, with his risky choice to send their forces into enemy territory. But they’d learned some valuable information, so in the end, wasn’t it worth it.  

"Don't speak to me like that...as if you're my dad..."

The itch beneath his skin writhes.

His skin burns.

Something worms its way under his skin, beckoning him to scratch the itch. To claw and claw and claw until the sensation dulled to nothing. A part of the void that resided inside his ribcage where a heart once was, the endless black that grew bigger and bigger each day, threatening to swallow him whole.

But at the same time, this itch was an old friend. It had been with him since he was a child, a part of his earliest memories. The thing under his skin is temperamental, just like him. And now it flares, rearing an ugly invisible head. He’s been off all morning, agitated. Everything gets on his nerves—Kurogiri hovers too much. Dabi utters too much bullshit. Toga talks too much in general. Spinner is…okay. But there’s so much noise in his head, that he has to get away.

His favorite place, if he really even has a favorite place in this rotting city, is the mall. His fingernails dig into the already abused flesh of his neck, black hoodie drawn tight around his head. This society repulses him. To them, heroes are gods that can do no wrong, and they worship blindly at the heroic altar.

But Shigaraki Tomura knows better.

He pauses, glancing at a particular section. An arcade plaza. He’s not the biggest fan of arcade games—it’s always a risk mixing those old fashioned controls with his quirk. But the idea of shutting his brain off for a few hours and playing something mundane is appealing to say the least.

He checks how much he has in his pockets, then enters.

Nostrils twitched on fluffy muzzle as the hatchling raised his head, blurry vision swimming and trying to make out what was going on around him. He'd not ventured much away from the safety of the nest, legs proving wobbly and his rather small frame struggling to support his weight. Their mother explained it was because he hatched early, perhaps being half the size he should have been....and covered in fluff instead of the predicted scales. Still, little wings fluttered on his back as he stumbled onto four paws, letting out a squeak of delight when he realised it was food.

Movements slightly clumsy, it wasn't long until he started to devour the meal and take a drink, dark green fur damp and covered in debris by the time he'd finished. It was almost comical, being so small caused him to have a visible belly once fed. Managing a bit more strength in limbs, he headed over to the taller and let out a thankful squeak, nestling fur against him in a headbutt. He'd not quite found his voice yet.

Geez, was his half-brother tiny.

Tomura had the brief and morbid thought that he could probably pop the hatchling into his maw and swallow him whole with ease—even in his human shape. The older dragon lingered at the edge of the nest, watching the other stumble over his own feet like a newborn fawn.  He watched him eat his, curling his fingers against his chin. Something protective swelled in his chest, a rare fondness softening his crimson eyes.

"Well, now you're all filthy. You should learn some manners." He teased, dipping the index finger of his free hand into the nest to scratch the side of Izuku's head.

"I'm gonna have to give you a bath."
