when he is angry it collects on his fingertips and he sharpens his nails with it, pools it on the tip of his tongue until he mouthing a blade. when he is mad he slashes with every pointed whip and   ––-   isn’t he the kind of boy to hold the stars in his mouth, if just to have a scorching kiss?
