Hi, I'm Apollo, he/they, and this is for all my if's out there. Currently, I have two games released and actively being working on--you'll see them on the pinned post down below. hope you enjoy :) While the games themselves would not be considered 18+ at this stage (I'll get back to you on that) this blog is. All nsft content is under the 'sin bin' tag so please blacklist that if you don't want to see it. | RotT Demo | CoI Demo | FAQ
Okay so while I’m thinking about it I’m just gonna post links to both of my games and pin this post rather than just have Rott and CoI separate--it’s just kind of getting annoying. I’ll make update posts still but this pinned post will remain at the top for easier access to my games.
Just wanna have a look at them and not hear the sales pitch? RotT is here, and CoI is here.

You follow a pair of siblings worlds apart as they get accustomed to their new realities in two very different worlds. One trapped in an unnatural desert wasteland where every resource has a scarcity, not knowing if they’ll be the only one left when everything turns to dust, the other working as a private investigator in a sprawling underground metropolis of the undying. Each not knowing the other is alive, will they unravel the mysteries that somehow connect their two new homes?
The game switches perspectives between the two protagonists and you play as two werewolf sibling. There’s 13 love interests split between the two. It’s of the scfi-fi genre -- though I guess in this case it’s probably closer to fantasy in space.
Currently chapter one is complete.
Character list is here!
Features:
- Two werewolf mc’s
- Two branching storylines
- A stabbing
- and more :)
Regrets of the Traitor

You are the Ruler of Hadaria after killing the previous Queens and betraying all who once trusted you. Sat upon the throne with all the power available to you, one would be forgiven for believing you finished with your quest. With a strange figure in your dreams speaking vague prophecies of magical artifacts, a mysterious cult moving into the city, and a group intent on unseating you from your place, perhaps you’re way in over your head for a farmer’s kid.
RotT is the first of four books telling the tale of the Queenslayer. It’s high fantasy and features many love interests, branching paths, and plots to unravel.
Character list is here!
While I had initially completed four chapters it is getting rewritten for Twine. Of the rewrite chapter one through four is complete, though it is labelled in-game as one through three.
Features:
- Customisable mc (Gender, race, appearance, orientation)
- Three factions to join
- Four skills to master (swordplay, daggers, magic, and archery), and multiple personality stats that change throughout the game
So... just gonna put it out there and make it official--my games are gonna be on an indefinite hiatus until a medical condition is resolved (or at least gets better). I'm not gonna say never because I'm still plodding along at my projects when I'm feeling. Alright. It's an issue that affects my eyes so as you can imagine writing can be a struggle sometimes.
Anyway, sorry for the probably expected news but yeah. I need to put my full effort into getting better.
So. I'm not especially worried about this because we shall persist regardless but it has been brought to my attention that apparently tumblr might be dying.
So I guess I'm asking for alternatives to tumblr should the hellsite come to it's innevitable messy end?
Happy new year! Hope you’ve been doing well, what’s the clothing aesthetic in CoI & RoTT? And what’s the architecture in RoTT like? For some reason I immediately imagined RoTT like a much less tech-y Arcane
Happy new year. I know it's march but apparently I got super sick out of the new year. We still don't know what it is so we stay losing I guess. ✌️
ANYWAY, I want all my characters to look cool, so for fashion purposes CoI is a split between high glam to the point of nearly camp for like suuper well off people like Adrastea, and [REDACTED] (think hunger games capital denizens) to more rough, prqctical styles (draping scarves, thick coats, gloves, occasionally get some faux leather jackets in there, mostly practical, protective year. But honestly you can go with other looks if you like. I'm not a stickler.)
For RotT
Anyone who has a litte bit of coin can probably afford nice tunics and whatnot, but mostly you're either wearing short-styled, prqctical work wear if you're a laboror out in the border villages, thick, heavy, and impractucal roves if you're clergy, part of the mage academies, or otherwise a scholar. Hadarian nobles tend towards more showy forms of wear, like displaying large jewellery pieces or covering their clothes with fancy stones. There's no proper idea of modesty in Hadaria so there's no prohibition against showing bare limbs but there is a degree of the more layers you wear = the more money you have because you can afford more fabric.
Xacthans, due to the cold, wear more practical finery--long sleeves, woolen overcoats or fur capes, sometimes paired with the odd armour piece if they're an old soldier. Most xacthans own a good fur coat or two due to the weather and those in northern Xactha take it a step further and almost completely cover up. They even usually have face masks to block out the worst of the ice.
Now, Architecture.
In Hadaria you'll get pretty standard fantasy fare. It tends towards sharp edges and points, with some important buildings having stained glass. Think really old and pretty churches. You standard family home for a commoner, however, tends to be a bit more bare bones. If they aren't made by hand by the owners, they're typically more blocks of bricks or wood with some straw roofs.
In Xactha you'll find a mix of styles but the most prominent you'll find around the border is Brutalist-style architecture, with heavy angles and bare walls. Outside of that, you get very sloped roofs and thick walls for insulation. The front of buildings often are made to look uninviting, in an attempt to dissuade invaders, while the back of the building is where one would find things like decoration--at least for a commoner.
All this to say, however, if you think something fits for your own personal view of the world, you can aesthetically change things as much as you like in terms of fashion and whatnot. I'm not too fussed haha
Some infinitely nuanced answer (tell me in asks/in the post?)
I don't want to answer but I want to Know 👀

For reference -- it is easier for me to turn them into ROs NOW rather than later and with that said, adding content for them won't be difficult like, say, a completely new character because they already have routes pre-planned even without romance. Vote with your heart.
For the characters that are poor little meow meows how would they feel about actually being called that?
I DO remember the ask, I CAN'T actually find it though so this is how characters would react to being called poor little meow meows.
I *think* this was a RotT ask but I'll reblog with a CoI version later
Arke: "Is that a new pet name?" Arke groans, head falling into his hands to hide the evidence of his tanned face burning red. "Can you settle on just one?"
Ardwen: "Darling, poor?" Ardwen almost has the decency to look offended. There's no true exception to his tone, however, more just a simply playful warning. Said warning spreads into an evil smile, "And I can meow, but you'll have to ask nicely."
Bex: "Poor little..." Bex would frown, something grave covering his face in a mask. "First of all," He'd grumble, "I am not 'little'." (And rip if you somehow manage to be taller than him)
Cal: "I'm not a cat person," She lies, arms folding and something of a smile pulling up the corners of her lips, "So, I don't have the slightest clue what that might mean." She says this, just to get an explanation. Whether it works is a different matter.
Druvel: He knows exactly what that means, not because he's heard it before but because he just gets it. "I don't know about that," He'd say, offering a knowing grin, "I can think of a few people who fit that description better."
Emil: "No I'm not," Emil says just to be contrarian. Still, his spluttering, his red face, the way he shoves his hands under his arms to stop the flustered shaking... is enough to make up for it, "I have no clue how you got that idea in your head!" Surely, you could enlighten him.
Ettia: "Hmm," Ettia thinks on the point for a time, her laugh playful and light, perhaps a little knowing. "I know a few people like that but don't think I am--maybe you mean metaphorically? Metaphysically? Spiritually?" You know she's teasing by the time she gets to the fourth string in that line of suggestions.
Gwyn: Gwyn grins, almost evil in its intent, "Queenslayer," He says, dragging your name out slow through his fangs, "Are you sure about that?"
Herron: Herron splutters, "I'm what?" And then he proceeds to blink at you, like up until that moment he hadn't been properly awake. He says your name, and then again, unsure how to follow, seeming to settle into a discomforted laugh. "I'm... afraid I don't know what you mean."
Keller: "I don't think I am," She'd say, perhaps a tad perplexed, "I'm not particularly sad, and I certainly don't meow. I am poor though, by Hadaria standards." Keller would, perhaps, think on the topic longer than either of you would care to admit.
Korrin: They'd simply grin, perhaps knowingly, and proclaim that yes, they are a 'sad little mew mew,' or whatever it is you said.
Lokeira: Lokeira blinks at you, stares at you with an expression so blank you could almost mistake him for a statue. "If..." He mutters, eyes finally shifting away, embarrassed, "If you stroke my hair, you can call me whatever you like."
Necrolym: He would take it in stride, even if he isn't entirely sure what that string of words is supposed to mean. He may even go so far as to say, "You too." And, for once, he'd be right.
Nox: "Oi, who are you calling 'little'?" Of course, only focusing on one word, Nox proceeds to tackle you. She'll show you, little.
Qora: Qora offers a strange look, brows furrowing as confusion descends upon her expression. Finally, her gaze shifts to Zora, lounging at her feet. A tiny smile appears on her lips as she points at the wildcat.
Severa: Severa laughs, knowing exactly what you mean when you say that. "No I'm not," She says through a gasp, flicking you on the shoulder, "I am not. If either of us are 'poor little meow meow's' here, it's you."
Spotter: First, they'd be confused. Then, they'd be happy? They think. Possibly. Maybe. Honestly, the confusion would creep back in at some point because they don't really know what those words mean in that order.
So I was thinking about what if the COI MCs swapped situations with each other (MC2 in the wasteland and MC1 in the city) and that got me wondering, for the ROs that were alive during the fall of the city, what would the ROs be like/be doing if their environment was reversed and they were in the wasteland/city instead?
Hmmm this is an interesting question because each of these characters are very important to the section of the world they find themselves in... but we can explore this >:3
Carol: She'd be the organiser of a small community in the Undercity somewhere but it would be more of a staying alive sort of situation than anything really revolutionary but you know, not everyone is Perci.
Lowrie: I like the idea that Lowrie would be in the community theatre with Erato because they'd be very dramatic together. But also you can't separate them from Carol so she'd still be around the place too. 😌
Mordred: There is only really one role for people like him in Ledala: Military. And thus that's where you could find him--he would be less wild, more disciplined. But also probably unhappier, tbqh.
Doc: She'd be a back alley doctor somewhere, or maybe just someone who lets people crash at hers when they need. I find it difficult to imagine she'd lose her penchant for wandering around but wouldn't go so far as she does in Wasteland.
Ridley: They'd be a scientist. Genuinely no questions there. Would they TRY to be ethical? sure. Would they always be? Ehhhhhh.
Harley: They'd be a bartender on the Disk, probably. Why separate them from something they're good at? That being said, however, they'd probably be lonelier, they'd have fewer close friendships.
Allard: Oh, I'm sure Allard would find something to be unhappy about and try to get to the surface one way or another. Or they'd try and take over the leadership in Ledala. Just for funsies.
Arthur: I'll be honest with you, if he were human he probably would have died day 1 of the fall. He's self-destructive, not great at looking after himself or others and is somewhat unreliable. Buddy would need to shape up and quick.
Dagda: Honestly Dagda would probably have a better time in Wasteland than down on the Disk. Or if nothing else, they'd get to go hog wild when they really want to.
Adrastea: Yeah... Adrastea would make themself the queen of a bandit group and sit there pretty until the cows come home, regardless of what they might actually want to do (they would get bored after a while).
Perci: She would take up a similar role to Carol but in this case I think she would almost be THE most heard voice in the room at all times with regards to the other settlement leaders. Most... of them would not like her vibe.
Saga: Saga would be with Adrastea but moonlight as a hunter for funsies.
Deimos: He would also be with Adrastea but I think in this case he'd be closer to Saga maybe as some sort of Adrastea-appointed bodyguard. Not... that Saga would appreciate that.
does mc2's job effect their stats or skills in any way?
Stats no. Skills, there might be in-story places where the relevant skills come up but not in a way that will pass/fail you a particular scenario. It'll just be flavour text
If it hasn't been shared, I found a bug. My save says "ch2mech1101" if that helps. The bug was when the stranger was confronting the 2nd mc, he referred to them as "$mc2name".
Other than that chapter 2 was a blast! Will Kim be a RO? :)
Ahhh, there's always one that slips through the cracks, I'm just glad it's not a game-breaking one lmao. That'll be fixed for next update--it's a bit of a silly mistake on my part.
To properly answer that question that's gonna be a solid... 'maybe' for the moment. Kim, indeed all three, are set up for the potential for a future romance (mechanically speaking, I mean) but they'd be slightly more minor ROs with a different direction for their routes (as they don't necessarily coincide with the main plot). Given that they already have a planned and fully realized route without the romance aspect, it wouldn't be difficult to implement.
I would be open to it, esp given I kinda love Kim, and would be open to give them more involved roles in the story (which would be easier early on than not). Given interest, I'd be open to the idea, in much less words.
oooh seeing the genre question got me thinking, what genre would the characters think their canon is from their perspective?
Again, probably gonna do this for the CoI characters -- but might add the RotT ROs if I remember.
If the ROs were to pick a genre ask is here.
Carol: Western but not about cowboys
Lowrie: Tragedy
Harley: Like. A Management Sim
Ridley: Investigative Documentary
Allard: Horror/Comedy
Mordred: Action/Adventure, and he's the protagonist
Doc: Medical Drama without the drama
Arthur: Detective Noir
Deimos: Like a Mafia movie
Saga: Romantic Tragedy
Dagda: A movie about some guy's struggle with life that either ends with him dying or getting better. They're just not sure what the end is at the moment.
Adrastea: Whatever genre the Great Gatsby was (with all the gay subtext, too)
Perci: Basically Les Mis. Musical numbers included.
So, it's official, I've finished chapter two. Finally. After too long.
This chapter has haunted my for the entire year, and I even ended up at the hospital just as I was going to start preparing it for upload the first time. This is the second. That said, it's complete and with it comes the additions and changes.
Link to the game: Here
and below, is the change log.
What has changed:
- Chapter two is completely finished. There are no missing branches, no notable bugs (touch wood), and can be completely played from start to finish with minimal issues.
- There are three branching paths dependent on a choice that will lead you down three separate mini stories that resolve over the course of the game. These paths each have a character associated with them with their own lives, personalities, and history.
- You can now meet two additional love interests.
- The missing branch in chapter one is closed and complete. Additional details and exposition have been added for these scenes and have also been extrapolated on.
- The scene where you talk to Lowrie at the bar after you return from Elysium has been expanded.
- Many aspects of the prologue as well as the first half of chapter one have been added to or completely rewritten. There is now added context as to why the first PC would rather keep themselves secret, and Harley even gets a better introduction that is more indicative of their character going forward, as well as other changes.
- The 'Cast' screen has been almost completely rewritten. There is now additional information for every major character as they show up in the story.
- Various variables have been fixed. There were issues with some of my old naming conventions that caused some content to be missed. This is now fixed and any missing content you were supposed to see should now appear.
- I've gone through and consolidated some variables that don't quite fit or have become otherwise redundant.
- Otherwise fixed typos or changed details that no longer fit the story.
What Next?
- I plan to make changes similar to the ones I made in chapter one to the old stuff in chapter two. There's a lot there that I want to beef up/change/etc and that will be my main focus before I move onto the next chapter. This will be a separate update from the next chapter as I'm staggering between different games at the moment. This should be a much shorter process than just dealing with a brand new chapter or content; I'd say keep an eye out for an updated chapter 2 in a few unspecified weeks.
- Moreover--and this shouldn't have any effect on the game as a whole--but I need to fix up old variables and continue to consolidate, delete, change, etc just to sleep at night.
- Otherwise I will be here to fix up any bugs that fell through the cracks and deal with problems as they arise.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the update -- remember to start a new game as your old saves would have been broken.
