The main difference it has compared to some AUs is the way the critters deal with their trauma, as they all have some sort of unhealthy coping mechanism and mostly refuse to get help for it. I will go into detail of each critters issues later.

Anywho, the reason the au is called “rotten red” is mainly because the whole of all the toys from play co have made themselves a little town in a red wood forest just outside a larger city, and the critters eyes turn red depending on how much they’re struggling and if they feel hatred towards someone from their past.

Catnap: How would one obtain that much peanut butter, this question makes zero sense.

Kicken: I’d agree, but I’ve seen someone with that amount of peanut butter before, so I can’t.

Catnap: *sigh*…yup, and I had to deal with him.

Dogday: I can’t be that bad of a drunk, right?

Catnap: I mean you weren’t trying to kill me or anything, so that’s something, but you get really—how would I put this… clingy?

Hoppy: you lifted cat over your head and ran with him while screaming “I have obtained the weapon” and laughing maniacally, Day. It was hilarious!

Kicken: don’t forget get the part where Sunny over here carried the poor guy throughout the entirety of the party!

Question for Hoppy Hopscotch: Have you heard noises coming from Catnap's room? What was it? 👀

Hoppy: *vaguely disturbed* every once in a while I will be heading to the kitchen for a glass of water at 2:00 in the morning I hear his claws scratching against the wall as he travels up it and climbs onto the ceiling. Other than that it’s dead silent. *smug face* Dogday’s room however—

Catnap: you should stop talking now.

Dogday, from across the hall:why are we talking about my room?

If Catnap were pregnant, IF HE WERE, what would the other critters' reactions be? Especially Dogday's?

It would be mass confusion/panic for everyone except Catnap. none of them would feel prepared to raise a BABY. They've taken care of toddlers, sure, but a baby is uncharted territory. Plus they're all young adults so they would all feel very unprepared.

And considering Dogday would most likely be the reason for this happening, he would panic the most.

Meanwhile Catnap, who was left with babies a lot and knows how to take care of their needs and wants, would sit there the whole time looking like this:

Dogday: ohhhhhhh. Then Catnap is already a femboy.

Dogday: the skirt your wearing tells me otherwise.

Catnap: I’m gay and men’s fashion is boring.

Dogday: you know what, fair enough.

(My dogday isn’t a pervert, he just gets into people’s personal space when he has something against them and keeps accidentally flirting with catnap.)

How would the critters react if Catnap were to... randomly give them stuff and just leave without giving any context? Like, maybe something for Bubba to study or food ingredients for Picky and so on for the other critters

this happens quite frequently actually. Catnap gives stuff to people a lot. It’s sort of a habit of his. He doesn’t ever expect anything in return, which is the most confusing part to the critters. They all have mixed feelings about it.

Weird question, but does Catnap sleepwalk/sleeptalk? If so, what was the most weirdest one to ever happen?

He doesn’t sleep walk, but he does have insomnia. So he gremlins throughout the night lol.
