you know that feeling when you go to bed late and you wake up at sunrise? when your head aches a little and the sky is soft and pink and gold? and your heart is floating in your chest and you’re tired but it’s beautiful and the sun says “good morning” and the sky says “I love you” and your body says “it’s okay you can sleep more, they’ll still be here when you wake up”? yeah? haha yeah
“Come sleep with me: We won’t make Love,Love will make us.”
— Julio Cortázar (via coral)
damn I haven’t been on here in forever but like I need to chill the fuck out
If I wasn't fat and ugly would my dad actually love me?
tfw you feel like your dad hates you and thinks you're trash and basically wishes that you were never born because you probably ruined his life 😊😊😊😊😊
So today, my mother explained to me why she hates me. She did not use any words. She didn’t have to. She just put the needs of herself above me. And that is all I need to know that she doesn’t love me.
We do not know that we are in the places people have dreamed of. The distant lands in their fairy tales. They imagine our homes as a place they have never known. So why must we not love where we’re grown? Why must we always wish to leave? There will always be beauty in the familiar, although not as exotic as the strange.
My mind
I stayed up til four in the morning tonight. It’s quite unusual really. I was about to go to sleep hours before when a dear friend sent me a message. In which case I could do nothing else but to continue the conversation. It lasted until three when she asked me my opinion on her ego. But that’s not for the public to know. Although no one is here to read this.
I stayed up another hour, my eyes heavy, exhaustion falling over me. Why I stayed that extra hour? To pass the time I had watched a movie. But it wasn’t over when she was, so I continued it. Sure, I could’ve resumed in the morning. But I don’t like leaving things unfinished. Well. Only things that are easily over with.
Upon finishing I laid back in my bed, trying to force myself into slumber. But my thoughts control me, so I was thinking, about how long it was til I would have to wake up, how I would go about the day ahead, how my social standing is within my peers and upperclassmen. The aura I felt from these things made me sick. I detest it and now think, I am living the life I hate. The life I constantly tease in books. It’s so blatantly mundane that I have no choice but to make it seem interesting in my own mind. Disgusting.
But now I write and I ramble. Wasting my youth away honestly. I am a mere fourteen and I’m up like a night owl of the age thirty.
Fin. Hanbin Your Stress Request
You strutted into your apartment, tired, annoyed, and done with this god forsaken world. You let the door close behind you with a slam and kicked your shoes off. They collided with the wall of your narrow entry way, creating a loud thud. Your past few months had been horrible, and it seemed as if today had been the worst day you’d had so far. Between pretentious complaints from ignorant clients, judgmental looks from depreciating coworkers, and the fact that your department’s new head was a total jackass who complained about every little thing you did that was acceptable to all the world but just so astonishingly not him. On top of that, you hadn’t seen your boyfriend in that span of time, which was perfectly understandable and not giving you any feelings of animosity. But you couldn’t help but to feel a little lonely. Just a little bit
You made your way to your bedroom, sloppily sliding off your duffle coat, letting it land softly on the floor. Maybe a little nap would ease your stress.
You pushed open the whitewashed door to your room, trudging to your bed. Oh how it was calling for you to be wrapped in its soft sheets, to emerge you in its warm comforting embrace, to let you drift into a world of your own where you could taste at least a tiny bit of heaven. You eagerly flopped onto the bed, expecting to sink into the plush mattress, but met an unfortunate pain in the back of your head. You shot up into a sitting position, cursing under your breath. You clutched the sore spot with one hand and used the other to maintain your balance.
"What the hell?" you muttered irritably. Turning your torso around ninety degrees, you dug through your blankets to find the culprit of your unforeseen assault.
"Ahah!" you exclaimed, picking up your laptop from your now messy bed. You sighed and ran a hand through your hair, proceeding to reach over and place your laptop back in its original place.
You returned to your position before smacking your head on the hard device. You shifted around a bit to get comfortable, moving a pillow here and there, untangling some of your sheets. You stared at your ceiling fan taking in slow, deep breaths. You were so exhausted, so strained, so isolated. Oh how you wished this feeling wasn’t here, but you couldn’t help it. Your heart felt empty and strange as you looked up. Your eyes began to get blurry, your breathing became ragged. You sniffed, wiping your brimming tears away, but to no avail. You placed your arm over your eyes as you shut them in an ill-effort to keep your tears from pouring.
You sobbed, and sobbed.
•••••••
Slam! He heard the door close merely seconds after you entered.
He furrowed his eyebrows in a mixture of concern and confusion. Hanbin began calculating what was going on. What was wrong? Were you alright? Had he upset you? Maybe he shouldn’t have let you convince him to leave you all alone.
He stood there, glaring holes into the floor for a few minutes, maybe seven, convincing himself to go to you. He quietly paced to your door, pulling a key out of his pocket. He slid the piece of metal into the lock and twisted, undoing the lock. He took in a deep breath and cautiously pushed the door open. He quietly entered your flat, carefully looking around him. Everything looked as it always did - the couch with tidily set pillows, the fresh bouquet of precisely arranged flower, your well organized bookshelf that you’d always nag to him about whenever he placed one of your precious novels in the wrong place. It all looked in perfect order. He took his shoes off whilst scanning the room again. Ah, there was one little mess, your shoes were thrown into a corner. He gathered the pair and set them straight in their shelf with the rest of your shoes.
Hanbin silently stared down the hallway towards your room before gingerly creeping to your location. Seeing your coat on the floor, he picked it up and draped it over his arm neatly.
Hanbin lifted his fist to knock when he heard something, something quiet, painful, and agonizingly recognizable. He felt his heart writhe in his chest, filling him with guilt as you cried in your bedroom. He was cemented to the spot, not knowing what to do. Your whimpering steadily grew in volume, becoming loud, pitiful wails. Maybe you hadn’t really cried that much, maybe his convicted conscience amplified your pain.
He quickly threw the door open and hurried to your bed. He slid in next to you and pulled you into his strong, safe arms. You unconsciously buried your face in his chest hiccupping and blubbering like a child, already knowing Hanbin was there to care for you, to comfort you.
The boy gently stroked your hair and cooed sweet nothings into your ear.
"It’s okay," he whispered. "I’m here now.. I love you.. I’m sorry for leaving you alone…"
He planted sweet kisses on the top of your head and rubbed your back soothingly until you began to calm down. Your breathing began to regulate and your heart rate slowed. You sniffed and adjusted your position a bit to wipe some tears away. Hanbin lessened his grasp leaned his head down to look at you. He tilted your chin up to look at him, smiling sweetly as he wiped away some delayed tears. He kissed your forehead, then the tip of your nose, and softly placed his lips upon yours for a short, sweet moment.
A tiny smile graced your features as you looked up at him, his eyes filled with his care for you.
"Now what’s wrong?" he questioned, his eyes turning more serious.
You opened your mouth to deny any problems occurring in your life, but think back on your recent actions and staring into his severe eyes, you decided no to. And so you began spilling your problems to him; the new department head no knowing how to shut up and realize that not everything is about him; your truly irritating coworkers who didn’t know how to mind their own business and evaluate themselves before talking about someone else; the ignoramus clients who complained about absolutely everything you did wrong which were the exact things they had asked for. Hanbin listened with full attention, throwing in his little comments and pennies of advice every once in awhile.
Oh how good it felt to have him back, having him holding you so close and letting you jabber his ear off. The best part of it is that he honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fin. Hanbin Drabble
Hanbin stretched out his stiff muscles as he leaned back in his chair. For the past few hours he’d been composing. Or at least TRYING TO. He couldn’t even come up with a decent melody. How’d this come about? Where’d his inspiration go? He was probably just a little tired that day. Yeah, that’s it. He sighed and rub the exhaustion out of his eyes.
"Aish..," he breathed. "What’s up with me today..?"
He propped his head up with his elbow on the desk, deciding to do some internet browsing. Maybe read a couple articles and see if he could find some inspiration there.
•••••••
It’d been an hour since he started searching for inspiration on the web, but it didn’t seem to be helping much. He grew impatient and leaned back in the black leather swivel chair once again, pulling off his snapback and running his hand through his hair.
He tilted his head back and stared at the ceiling, letting out a huge yawn, covering his mouth with his hand still holding his hat. He rubbed his tired eyes, the feeling exhaustion starting to lure him away from his precious work.
No time to sleep, he thought. I haven’t come up with anything good yet.
Hanbin once again returned to his working position, back to his mixing, back to whatever the hell he was doing. He set eyes on the screen, muttering under his breath to stay focused over and over again. He scrolled and clicked, skimming through article after article, still chanting “Stay focused.” He didn’t even realize he was still speaking. His vision became blurry, slowly to fading to black.
•••••••
B.I slowly opened his eyes expecting to still be sitting at the desk in the empty practice room, still mindlessly staring at the screen. But that was not the case. He was lying on the practice room floor, facing the ceiling. He furrowed his eyebrows and blinked a few times to adjust his sight. He groaned and shifted slightly, feeling something soft under his head.
"Ah, you’re awake," a calm voice observed.
Hanbin turned his gaze to the right, looking straight into a girl’s face, one he already knows, but on he’s surprised to see. He couldn’t help but crack a smile at her. “______, what’re you doing here? Shouldn’t you have gone back to your dorm by now?”
"I should have, huh," the pretty girl decided. "I’ll just go now then."
She began to stand, but B.I set all his weight onto her lap.
"No no no no no no!" he stammered. "Stay.. Please?"
______’s face broke into her soft, light smile. “Okay~”
Hanbin smile could only grow wider.
"Ah, you still didn’t tell my why you’re here," he reminded her.
"Oh yeah," she said brightly, her eyes lightening as she realized why she’d come in the first place. "I was walking by to get to the elevator – I was heading back to the dorm – and I heard a thump. So I came in here ‘cause I was curious and I saw you-" she snickered. "Your butt was slipping out of the chair and your face was sliding off the desk. It was HILARIOUS to look at. But it looked like you were about to fall so I went in to lie you down so you wouldn’t hurt yourself. I would’ve put you on the bench but you’re too heavy for me."
"Ah.. I see..," B.I said, everything becoming clear to him. Although, he didn’t feel very embarrassed considering that she’d seen much worse than that. "That still doesn’t explain why you’re still here though… Not that it’s a problem.."
"If you really must know," she replied in faux annoyance, "when I got you off the chair you were basically CLINGING onto me for dear life. And when I finally got you on the floor, you wouldn’t let go of my waist. So I just stayed here and let you use me as a pillow."
"O-oh…," the boy mumbled, his cheeks becoming slightly tinted with pink.
"But that’s okay~ I got the chance to stay with you," she beamed, the smile gracing her features becoming all the more bigger and brighter, so much so that her bright eyes curved into crescents.
Her smile was just too contagious, too sweet, too warm — he couldn’t possibly not at least grin.
“Oh! How’s composing?” She inquired, tilting her head slightly to the side, the lights in the ceiling just perfectly highlighting her features.
No response came. Hanbin was way too entranced in studying her eyes, her nose, her lips. He scrutinized every detail of her god-given face.
She waved a hand in his face. “Hello~? Hanbinnie? Are you okay?”
"I’m just fine…," he mused, thinking about how he’d— hold on. He’d been daydreaming about her in her presence. How completely not embarrassing. He stumbled for a recovery. "Uhm.. I-I mean….," he stammered. "It’s not.. Not going that well. I can’t come up with anything even remotely decent.”
She hummed, an expression of exaggerated thinking covering her face. “I think…,” ______ cosidered. “You fried your brain.”
"I what?" Hanbin chuckled.
Her eyes narrowed, looking at me poshly. “You fried your brains,” she asserted. “Kim Hanbin, you work too hard. You need to rest, relax. You can’t just force inspiration, you know?”
The boy sighed. “You think so?”
She rolled her eyes. “Obviously. That’s what I just said.”
She was silent for a moment, mulling over something. Her eyes brightened, suddenly, her lips curled into a wide, cheeky grin.
"I’ve got it!" she exclaimed, simultaneously standing up, letting poor B.I drop to the floor.
"Hey!" he complained. "That hurt." His lips were formed into a pout and ______ couldn’t bother to not giggle.
"I’m sorry~" She kissed the top of his head upon him sitting up. She took ahold of his hand and pulled him up to his feet. "Alright, let’s go!"
"What?" The protest started. "Go where? I really can’t just-"
"Yes, you can," she settled. Her stubborn nature was not going to be own over.
"… Alright..," he muttered. "Where are we going again?"
"You’ll see~" She dragged led him out of the practice room.

Guilty.
The boy stared at the screen in disbelief.
Guilty.
Bobby cursed under his breath, running his hand through his dark hair. He wasn’t going to get out of this one. Well, not easily anyway. How troubling for the nineteen year old. The situation got a bit of fear to creep into his being. Although, it was not so much getting jailed in one of the most politically difficult planets in the galaxy that got to him. The pure thought of having to deal with Jinhwan once he got back was the problem.
How come he, of all people, got caught? Wasn’t he supposed to be the not so crafty one? The crew would never let him live this down, which was completely outrageous. This has happened before and there absolutely nothing wrong with getting distracted by a candy bar. Mars bars aren’t usually sold anywhere besides Earth.
"Hey!" he yelled, his voice echoing in the empty room. "This is COMPLETELY all rules of society! Why am I in here without explanation?! You have no proof that I did anything wrong! I SHOULD NOT BE IN HERE!”
The monitor hummed and changed its display. A video appeared, explicitly showing that Bobby was, in fact, guilty. It obviously showed him breaking into a building and lowering out a knocked out human body. It continued to play, going through every moment until he was caught next to the convenience store.
Click.
A clear voice flowed into the room. “Convict KJ116738, you have been uttering the same weak accusations for the past three hours. There is high quality evidence staring you right in the face.”
"BUT THAT ISN’T ME!" Bobby bellowed. "THAT IS PROBABLY SOMEONE WHO ONLY LOOKS LIKE ME. SHOULD
