Drawing plants around me from life~

I recently bought a bunch of gouache and watercolor brushes for Procreate, and this was a fun opportunity to test them!

I used real watercolors and gouache a ton years ago, and this the first time I've found digital brushes meant to replicate them that feel natural to use. Modern brush makers are really next-level~

Reminiscing about my Girafarig crossbreeds and Stantler splices inspired me to do another crossbreed set, this time Ponyta and Rapidash! Mostly just an excuse to draw Weird Horses lol. Which is your favorite?

also y'all I've tried so many times to write fanfiction and the stories I work on get so unhinged it's not even fan content anymore. Why did my yugioh fic become a novella about sad gay track athletes being persecuted at a catholic high school in the 90s. There aren't even any card games. I tried to rectify this and my next fic turned into trauma surgeons playing recreational baseball. I don't watch baseball. Somebody let these poor boys play card games.

Anyway I ended up with werewolf story about colonialism that I'm never finishing so I guess you can look forward to some gay sports stories vaguely based on yugioh coming out in 2024

Hey all, I've been off social media for a couple years but I am in fact fine and doing well. Mostly I've been working, but lately trying to make time for art. I did some illustrations for a story I'm writing and just finished a commission, so progress. When I get back from vacation I'd like to start posting art again.

Your cheek was soft when I felt it with my lips, you hair was messy and your skin was cold.

I picked you up when you fell asleep, likely bored to tears of my long story.

But you slept with a smile so I hoped for a while that your dreams would keep you safe from the vile.

I had never touched your skin like this, although it was just your shoulders. My heart did pound like mountains breaking boulders.

Your innocence went undisturbed, I made sure you got home safely. Although with prayer your new day would curb, it’s sleep and rest you do deserve.
