life update: i now feel confident that my growing voice - as it pertains to the world of my craft - is strong and singular and undeniable. i no longer worry that my ability to keep pursuing that craft is contingent upon my willingness to entertain bullshit. keep making good things and do not compromise.

besides that one anomaly of strength, though, i’m still at a loss as regards what my presence in any given room adds, or why it would be desired, or what function it serves. i’ve little to no idea why i’m worthwhile in any particular way beyond some common goodness that all folks share – and can evoke if they so choose. i’m still largely unconvinced that i am singular in the eyes of any given friend, because i can’t relate to what they observe – or, in some cases, what they withhold from ever telling me they observe.

i’ll work on it. a love of people and making and Whatever holds it all together stays me. but i’d rather take a stand for my worth than make a wager in hope.

What are you most looking forward to right now/ in life

steadily improving:

- steadily improving at living in intimate community- steadily improving at communicating with those i love- steadily improving at my pizza job, wherein i make pizzas

looking forward:

- looking forward to diversification / expansion of artistic pursuits- looking forward to fun / secret / all-of-a-sudden friend tour coming up- looking forward to calling my parents tomorrow / more often
