You are not wrong for walking away from something or someone that emotionally drains you.
u mean life?
How am I supposed to find somewhere to live within a week? And a job? And finish school? And not be absurdly stressed/depressed while doing it? I have actually developed physical responses to my stress. constant abdominal pain. CONSTANT UNCONTROLLABLE tears. How do I do this?
Baby boomer: You kids don't know how hard we had it! Everyone had to use the Library to get information and we didn't have cell phones!
Me: Literally everyone I know my age wants to die but okay

IMPORTANT NOTE: OBTAINING HRT THROUGH PLANNED PARENTHOOD DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY SORT OF PSYCH DIAGNOSIS OR SEEING A SEPERATE ENDOCRINOLOGIST. IF YOU LIVE IN THESE PLACES AND WANT HRT, PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS
It's weird going from being equally as fucked up as your partner to having them get better, and sober, and generally successful at life. When the relationship isn't symbiotic anymore and you're the only one who needs help, how do you not feel guilty?
One of my friends shared the story of Hamza Bendellajd on her facebook. I couldn’t find a whole lot of stuff anywhere about him. Probably because he stole FOUR HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS and donated it all to charities in Africa and Palestine.Â
The Algerian computer science graduate was able to hack over $400 million from 217 banks. When arrested, he refused to make a deal with the government explaining how he was able to do such a thing. He told the authorities “Money and power are nothing if they are not used to build a better world”. For this, he was hanged in Thailand on March 4, 2016.
Hamza Bendellajd was the very definition of “chaotic good”.
Hamza Bendelladj (I believe is the correct spelling) is still alive. He is currently being charged for crimes in the United States and I believe France as well related to the money he stole and donated to charity. I still think it is important to note such a great hacktivist, and I think it is important to show solidarity with him during his trials.

@vox takes on the trope of the hypercompetent female sidekick. You know her – the one who’s the smartest, toughest and most capable yet ends up being rescued by the less talented, but extremely straight, white, cisgender and male hero.Â
This intersects well with discussions about the pay gap and obstacles women face in their careers. For those of us who aren’t straight white cisgender men – the persistence of being typecast as not-the-hero (or the boss, or the leader, or the expert commenter) despite qualifications, talents and capabilities is a lived reality.Â
