i’m actually never done talking about this. does it matter in the grand scheme of things? absolutely not besties but i have decided to proceed with being annoying about it anyway ✨

denmark has actual cocktails that are good! most notably, the humble and beautiful gin hass, created by a danish man named kim hass.

it is a simple yet effective recipe: essentially just gin, lemon soda, and mango syrup. but it’s so good, and i am kept up every night haunted by the knowledge that if dan and phil had made this, rather than mixing fucking gammeldansk with orange juice (what the fuck even is that??) they would have 1) had a much pleasanter experience, and 2) not put us in fucking last place!!

thank you for speaking on this because i was APPALLED AND HORRIFIED by the drink they made for poland. every polish person know żubrówka is the worst fucking brand of vodka you could ever get and i have NEVER heard of someone pairing it with apple juice. real szarlotka (the pastry) is delicious. but you cannot make a cocktail from a country known for its alcoholism and have it be the most disgusting shit known to god
