I found a carrot patch!
A SOLUTION WAS FOUND!
If you had the problem that I had with LoE where the app opened, showed the Unity Logo, then quit the game, there is a possible solution!
Right click the app
Go to “Get Info”
Under General, tick the option, “Open in 32-bit mode”
Open the app
Hope this helps you out!
Glade to know you finally got it to work!
You should come onto the Levade sever, fun times. I'm Talren Seidhr there.
Retreat of the Pegasus!
The Pegasus have begun to retreat from Cantermore! They gained a small foot hold in the capital city but this was soon lost when their army found themselves srounded by Earth ponies who were not going to go down easily.
They are currently evacuating through airships to Cloudopolis but the war still rages on as the New Lunar Republic still marches onwards to take over the capital city.
Earth Ponies along with The Pony Brigade from Ponydale have taken to the city to help keep freedom throughout Equestria.
This story is still in development, more as it happens here at the Rowen Stipe News Network!
Hostile take over of the NLR on Levade server!
The Pegasi and Unicorns have banded together with the NLR under Woonas command to enslave the Earth ponies!
More as this story develops!
I think the bath is a little full....
SOme fun times in LoE So far.
... I have to skip out on LoE's Open Server weekend this time around because I don't have an updated graphics card T-T
Sorry to hear this :T
LoE: Possible fix for some of the Mac users
I use Linux nativly but I have a MacBook Pro With the following:
Processor: 2.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4GB DDR2
Graphics Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB
Running OSX 10.9.2
I'm not entirely sure what the requirements are for Mac but one thought that comes to mind with an issue with the application launching is a corrupted file.
I downloaded the Mac version of the launcher from their google drive located here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BxOFrZEgMQzSZVBCU3htX1YxV1U&usp=sharing
I unzipped it and then launched the program and it worked, so you might wanna try downloading from there as I noticed the other Mac download link would have taken over 30 minutes (more time than it took me to think about this matter).
Anyways that my two cents on the matter, for the Mac users out there let me know if this helped you.
EDIT: If you have an ATI graphics card then you may not be able to play the game at all due to support for the card being dropped several years ago.
LoE: An update!
I've been playing Legends of Equestria for almost a day (With some time for sleep) and so far. The game is rather enjoyable, it's buggy don't get me wrong, but it's just enjoyable to go into a game and there's no stigma of "Okay you HAVE to do this quest and this quest and this inorder to get to this." Something that really puts me off about a lot of games.
As of this posting there's no leveling system, nor is there a direct need for any item at all. You can attack monsters (An intresting story on that later), to gain some bits to spend on cosmetic items, with some items being quest items which are just generally fetch quests but they don't hide it as such.
The monster fights are rather interesting as you only have about 3 attack moves, they represent the various pony types rather well with Pegasus, Unicorn, and Earth ponies all having a unique thing about them.
The fights are rather itnresting so far, because you are limited on what attacks you can do it really is best to have other friends fighting some of the higher level creatures with you.
One instance of this I recently experianced that no one else seems to be able to explain is a dragon that suddenly apperead in Ponydale on the Levade server. Where not sure where it came from but it was rather intresting to see everyone suddenly band together at a moments notice and take on a dragon to protect the town.
yeah TL;DR version:
The game is fun, there's some bugs but nothing extreamly glaring, and it's more relaxing than other MMO's out there.
If you guys wanna hang out with me I'm generally on the Levade server. My name is Talran Seidhr.
(Bonus points for those who understand the lastname)
You always have that one follower who attacks your notifications in the middle of the night and goes through your blog, reblogging everything in sight.
And you’re just like:
I am one of them
ROTBTD AU » Teen Titans "If I am not your "girlfriend" then what am I?!" "Maaaaaaaybe this isn’t the best time?"
Bonus gif for Jack and Hiccup’s mental conversation:
Toothless suddenly shows up and suddenly Jack and Hiccup jet outta there.
This is my head cannon for this.
Legends of Equestria
.... So I just found out that there's a new game being release called Legends of Equestria, a 3D MLP game where you can create your own pony and complete quests...
I was mildly interested in this concept, then I took a look at their downloads page...
IT HAS A NATIVE CLIENT FOR LINUX!!!!
O_O
I'm an avid user of the Linux Operating System and this, this right here will probbly get me to play an MMO more than anything else.
Rather dull day I guess?
Well, I guess I could try and make some use of this account and talk about my day?
Honestly, I spent most of my time on reddit today but I did get a few things done.
I got some CSS code for a wiki a friend of mine started up for a role play group in Second Life has started up. Rather interesting concept, takes a few elements from other sources as inspiration for the setting and back story but makes it feel original in it's design and concept
Rather neat I guess.
In related news, I decided to look into the code of the client I use to connect to Second Life cause on my machine it's rather broken. Had to fix URLs not opening in my own browser, simple, and a font issue where it used some older gothic style font instead of the default one that's more clean.
That font business took me a while @_@
When I logged in there was something new in the landing area, in Second Life their called Gatcha machines. BAsically think about those old school candy machines that you put a quarter in and get a prize or candy from. They can be rather addictive. Anyways I spotted this one that was giving out goggles one of the people setting up this roleplay had made.... I went rather nuts and spent quite a bit of ingame cash on that single machine....
The goggles are rather nice though and fit my characters head nicely. Not something that can be said about a furry avatar.
Awww yeah, I be stylin'!
Not all the goggles look like those, there are about 10 different veriants to them. But yeah, I like the look of them.
Anyways, that's what my day was like... Dull to A LOT of people I guess but over all not bad.
o-o I'm not even looking have I even posted here?
Soo yeah, I've not been active on tumblr..... at all......
When was the last time I ever posted here?
*Moves from dashboard to look*
..... Soo... 8 months ago... And even then a repost....
I'm doin' this tumblr thing awesomely arn't I?

Why is there here o.o
Cause? Anyways, hi Tumblr!
