I got the idea to make it pixelated like this after watching parappa gameplay. I never specified what design style I was trying to replicate, just the aesthetic of games in this era, so that can be up to your interpretation

Vanellopes relationship w the racers after the movies finale?

While I was watching the movie for the thousandth time, I was thinking about how...Immature Vanellope is. I mean, she talks about Verps (vomits & burps together) - and heroes dootie jokes. Her humor is very selective to potty humor (same girl) -

But that got me thinkin'.

How many other racers...would like that? I mean, some of the racers might find it funny, but even then, some might give her weird glares just for being her own immature self.

I feel like Taffyta in specific would be grossed out by the potty-humor she throws around. Yeah, Vanellope is a princess, but she doesn't act like one, and while the other racers might be okay with it, I feel like Taffyta would have mental expectations- and when its not living up to that..?

She'd be weirded out a bit.

I feel like Gloyd and Swizz would LOVE Vanellopes jokes, - they'd find her the FUNNIEST racer of the bunch, if honest. But like, a-lot of the girl racers I could see being like, "ewwww!" at the mere mention of vomit.

They'd give her the most intense side eyes.

Like...Yeah, they welcome her with open arms, and enjoy her. Candlehead especially- but like, surely they would still find her...weird.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, since I find people i'm friends with weird all the time, and i'm very weird myself, but it would draw weird looks from the other racers surely. Her outgoing personality and immature outlooks would definitely -

impact the racecourse.

IDK, I was just thinking about it cus like... They give her side-eyes and giggle at her when she's just being a happy kid showing off her slightly shitty looking likkity split (which is still amazing for someone who made it from scratch btw) -

Surely they'd still find her weird when she's a president? Which I wonder if that would be an issue or not.

I feel like she'd hang out with the boy racers (minus Rancis, I don't think Rancis would like potty humor) alot more than the girl racers.

Despite that, Rancis does seem impressed by her. I mean look at him!! He prolly thinks she's the coolest racer on the track after that days events with the cybugs and king candy and her being revealed as a royalty.

I wanted to try more lineless art as well as make my own character who could probably pass off as a real sugar rush racer. I tried to replicate racer attire and appearance while trying to bring in elements that the canon main racers don’t use

For example, none of the main 11 (sorry recolors :[) has a MAINLY yellow color scheme. The racers sport short hair, braids, afros, pigtails, even low space buns! but none of them rock a side ponytail (vanellope has a regular high ponytail ok) and just many other things i’d love to point out but i don’t want this to get too long

So i made her :)

Evangellyna Ganache

No personality fleshed out yet, but her theme revolves around cheesecake, (regular and soufflé style found in japan), angel cake, (a type of sponge cake originally from the US) and caramelized sugar. These desserts look like this:
