Please check the expiration date on all potions. It’s important to properly plan your funeral, otherwise, other people will have to make the choices for you and THAT’S never fun.
The Royal Apothecary Society would like to ah. Uhm. Good news, everyone! We’re under new management! That isn’t Sylvanas, or Nathanos! Ahahah ha. Haaaaa pleasedon’tkillus.
okay i did the thing. i have thoughts but you might not like em
“sylvanas would never do that!!! her character has TOTALLY 180′d!!”
Video transcript (bolding mine):
Bound to the iron will of the tyrant Lich King, the vast undead armies of the Scourge seek to eradicate all life on Azeroth. Led by the banshee Sylvanas Windrunner, a group of renegades broke away from the Scourge, and freed themselves of the Lich King’s domination. Known by some as the Forsaken, this group fights a constant battle not only to retain its freedom from the Scourge, but also to slaughter those who would hunt them as monsters.
With Sylvanas as their banshee queen, the Forsaken have built a dark stronghold beneath the ruins of Lordaeron’s former capital city. This hidden ‘Undercity’ forms a sprawling labyrinth that stretches beneath the haunted woods of the Tirisfal Glades. Though the very land is cursed, the zealous humans of the Scarlet Crusade still cling to their scattered holdings, obsessed with eradicating the undead and retaking their homeland.
Convinced that the primitive races of the Horde can help them achieve victory over their enemies, the Forsaken have entered an alliance of convenience. Harboring no true loyalty for their new allies, they will go to any lengths to ensure their dark plans come to fruition. As one of the Forsaken, you must massacre any who pose a threat to the new order – human, undead, or otherwise.
i have mained an undead since 2005. this was always her plan, folks. now we, the Lordaeron Forsaken, are just no longer a part of it. if i’m being real, we haven’t been part of it since wrath ended.
^^^^^^^^^^^^ As an Undead main for almost just as long, I can back this up 100%. Her lashing out like that in the new cinematic was 100% expected, and I’ve been waiting for her to finally snap over her fear of true death ever since she died in Cata and she got emotional over it. When we saw her talking with Helya in Legion, it was obvious something would be happening that x-pac or the one after it. Good character development isn’t always someone becoming a better person, or a true hero. If you sat there and decided to ignore what happened in Silverpine for whatever reason, it is NOT bad writing or character destruction when Blizz later continues the story that they planted the seeds for in that questline. The only thing they ruined, is the idealized, canon-divergent Sylvanas crafted in some player’s brain meats that developed differently because the character was kept away from things that happen IN canon while being exposed to events that didn’t happen in the game at all. And that’s true for any rp with canon characters; majestic, amazing, kick-ass threads and drabbles happen and maybe even the muse develops! But unless Blizzard hires you as a WoW writer and makes your threads canon, that juicy development is going to be absent from the game, and the development may even go in a different direction due to story stuff that we haven’t seen yet. That DOES NOT make it bad writing. That DOES NOT mean they don’t know their own characters. We talk about respecting other’s RP headcanons and blogs, and other people who rp the same canon character ALL THE TIME and we all support each other so long as a person isn’t oocly being an awful person. Even the blogs that 100% stick to canon are still a smidge canon-divergent because we all know Khadgar didn’t do anything that happened on @archmage--khadgar in-game. Which is FINE. If we can accept other blogs with the same muse that MAY do things differently because of X,Y,Z due to various, previously mentioned reasons, then we really need to take a deep breath, remember that these AREN’T our oc’s, we’re NOT privy to development behind the scenes, what we DO in threads isn’t canon, so canon isn’t going to be affected by anything we write. Which is FINE. It’s OKAY. Keep writing, keep plotting, keep developing your writing skills! But it’s NOT OKAY to tear other writers down for not developing the story the same way you would. Be it an rp blog, fanfic author, or game dev writer.

Do not try to trick the new elves to drink that green potion sitting on the shelf. It’s not as though they were born at night.
Anyone seeking Internship in the Apothecarium is advised to alert their next of kin of their desire to acquire a position so that they may collect your remains at the end of your shift.
