Current song obsessions

When I say obsessed I mean listen to multiple times a day and truly cannot stop, so I figured I would share.

Sophie Auster “Dogs and Men”

Sophie Auster has released her sophomore album “Dogs and Men” and it is so great! I am really enjoying her unique sound. There are a lot of different genres that I hear while listening, between pop, jazz, R&B, and there are even a few songs that sound reminiscent on Amy Winehouse’s signature sound.

Rainey Qualley “Turn Down The Lights (EP)”

I am seriously obsessed with Rainey Qualley right now! Between “Me and Johnny Cash” and “Turn Me On Like the Radio,” her music is just so catchy and I cannot help but sing along and feel like a powerful, badass woman like Rainey. How could I forget to add how incredibly talented she is? You can’t deny how amazing her voice is.

“...I guess we’re all still finding our part...”

You can’t consider yourself a music lover until you’ve listened to the #1 country, rock, indie, folk AND #4 album overall “Something More Than Free” by Jason Isbell. 

I had the honor of seeing him live, and I can honestly say that it was an amazing experience. I am a huge fan of live music, but not many musicians have truly blown me away like Jason Isbell did. The lyricism truly speaks to you and paints a picture. I personally cannot stop listening to “To A Band That I Loved” (those are the title lyrics above).

Joanna may be newer to the country music world but she is an accomplished actor, nurse, mother and overall inspiration. She proves that you can accomplish your dreams at any age - and that there is no limit. Originally from Connecticut, Mosca lives in NYC today. She has performed at the ever-popular Blue Bird Cafe and she can be found all over social media (give her a shout out!)
