I have debated for quite some time on starting a blog. I think its something that P always wanted to do but never really had the time for. I am also not the most interesting person but lately I have realized that I have some incredibly interesting people in my life. I am also about to go to some incredibly interesting places. Iāll start with the blog name, Royal Julian...Well, we are moving to England and naturally Iāll soon find myself having tea with the Queen. I guess being a royal is soon in my future. (Iāve worked this out in my head already) My husband is in the Navy, and they apparently have a sense of humor. They wait until you purchase your first home and then BOOM move you overseas. (insert girl emoji with arms in the air) So England it is. Then there is my 8 year old little boy, Ben. Oh man, talk about interesting. This kid is either going to take over the world...or TAKE OVER THE WORLD! He has the spirit of a wild animal, and he definitely leaves messes like one sometimes! My husband is the most amazing step dad to him. I could not be the mother I am without him. He was seriously made to be a dad, which is great considering I am 3 weeks away from delivering a baby girl. I cant believe at 30 years young I am going to be a mother of 2. Now, i am not a perfect mom. If you are, this blog is not for you. I am more of a,Ā āOmg, WTF am I doing?ā mom. I probably ask myself that a thousand times a day. I am totally at peace with that. I think its hard being a mom right now. Women are so judgmental and I have just learned not to care. I am definitely known with my friends for being a bitĀ āmouthyā andĀ āopinionatedā (which once again, totally at peace with) and these blog entries could get interesting once i have this baby and can drink a little wine while I type. Side note: I miss wine. 3 more weeks...
Ā Little about what you can expect from me: I can often be found whining about things that most people donāt care about or donāt find important enough to waste their time caring about....I have the time and i WILL share them. It drives my husband crazy sometimes the things I let bother me. Like being skipped in line...I mean come on? It happened at Target the other day. Itās like she didnāt even see my big pregnant butt standing there but you can bet that i got loud saying,Ā āoh no its totally fine, I donāt have places to be...wow you must be so important...ā all while my husband is looking at me with theĀ āPlease stop and Iāll buy you whatever you wantā eyes....not that easy. I would give up the coconut clorox wipes for her to just move to the back of the line. Side note: Buy the coconut scented clorox wipes, they are AMAZING. Itās like vacation came and cleaned your house! Anyways, she didnāt acknowledge me. I probably whined for another 20 minutes about how rude people are....so pointless. However, my husband has road rage. It is the most hilarious thing ever. Yall, he is the best driver in the world...everyone else is wrong....no one deserves to be on the road but him. I will have to do an entire blog about his driving...seriously. I guess everyone has something they areĀ āpassionateā about. I am mostly passionate about politics, history, and people.Ā Ā
I guess this blog for me will be a place to vent about my parenting wins and losses, our epic adventures in England, and everything in between. I cant limit it to any one theme. I am sure for the next 3 weeks it will revolve mostly around me being 100% OVER this pregnancy. SERIOUSLY....OVER IT!Ā
Anyways, Thanks for reading. I have to crawl into bed now and pretend to sleep. I wish i could actually sleep but being pregnant is definitely not kind in that regard. Tomorrow my husband has his reenlistment ceremony where as soon as he signs Iām going to holler out,Ā āGOT EMā He probably wont laugh, but I will. Stay tuned for how that turns out.Ā
