Company?
That’s something she hadn’t had in a while.
The word alone is enough to bring the female to a pause, hand coming up to tug on the strap of the backpack laying against her side as a moment of clear indecision crosses her face at the offer. She takes a moment to scan the other woman, to take note of the weatherworn look to her visage – dust beaten fabric, the tinge of pink of a harsh sunburn, the evident signs of exhaustion – all a clear sign she hadn’t had a safe place in a while.
It brings up a twinge of something that now feels so foreign to her; something that tugs at her heartstrings from the pure look of hope she sees in her eyes.
It’d been a while, she’d supposed – that anyone had come through here looking like they’d even had an inkling of it.
Understandable. The end of the world had been – anything but kind. And Jackie had learned to be far more discerning of strangers stumbling upon her asking for kindness and shelter. Sometimes it was a ruse. Sometimes they were rogues. Sometimes… they just weren’t worth the effort.
But – she had a good feeling about this one. She hoped.
“…that’d be nice.” She whispered, voice ever so soft as it echoed towards the other woman across the shattered landscape. Jackie hops down from her vantage point atop the concrete rubble that’s become the only remains of Tokyo, motioning her head backwards as she takes hesitant steps towards the city circle. “Won’t be much of a tag-along though if you look like you’re ready to drop. Come on. I’ve got a safe place this way.”
— @royallyaries
London wanted to collapse on the ground and hug this woman’s legs, professing her undying loyalty as gratitude. Being by herself amidst the aftermath of chaos had been starting to get to her--it was one thing to hear the voices of the dead so loud it was like a constant buzz, it was another to hear the voice of someone living; clear, crisp, and sensical.
“Th-thank you! Thank you so much.” London gasps, and dares walks up a little closer to her newfound acquaintance, surveying her appearance. She was a charming young woman, at face value-- lithe, short, but alert and watchful.
“What’s your name, miss? I-- I’m London Dalliway. Where’s your safe place?”
illusoryelement:
“Ready.” Came the reply, finger tapping on the phone screen to record. “…Your lack of fear is really something else. It’s full on stupidity at times.”
“I won’t lie, I’m anticipating you messing up. In fact, you could say I’m looking forward to it.”
She’s compelled to tell this girl to shut the fuck up because who talks to other people like that, but she bites her tongue, knowing her phone was recording. Not that it mattered, since she was still talking. Sasha didn’t really know this chick that much, but she did know she was weird. Didn’t know she was a dick, though. You learn something new every day.
Sasha drops her weight forward and the board moves with her. She watches carefully as she slides up onto the otherside, steering her board around and going back the way she’d come. She repeats this action a few times until she’s moving at a significant speed, and when she reaches the edge of one side, lets her board jump up and pull as many flips as her body could muster.
Unfortunately, one too many flips causes her board to catch onto the edge of the ramp wrong and it jerks off balance, knocking Sasha away and rolling down the ramp next to her board. Nice.
“Fuck my ass. Cut the video. I fucked up in the air.” Sasha rolls onto her back and sits up, rubbing her arm with a grimace. “I’m fine. Lemme try again.”
Hey there !! This is a new blog looking for people to follow, so if you could REBLOG and/or LIKE this post that would help me out a lot ! Alois is an unstable, severely traumatized teen who has made a contract with a demon to sell his soul. The catch, though, is that this Alois is a LITTLE AU, and was altered to try and BETTER FIT the manga timeline.
“Some girls are full of LOVE & poetry & those are the kind of girls who try to save WOLVES instead of running away from them.”

“I wouldn’t be too worried about that. Couldn’t die if I tried.”
Sasha climbs up to the top of the ramp, sets her board down on the very edge, and steps on it to keep it rooted. Her eyes trail down to Valentine.
“You ready? I’m gonna take a second before I do the trick cause I need some speed.”
“Please, God, I hate so much. Grant me power.”
i’d appreciate it if he could maybe stay alive

“So I know what I’m talking about, I know the hungries. You don’t live that long outside the fence unless you work out the moves.” That of which she, herself, did not have. “What you can get away with, and what’s going to get you killed.”
“I know what I’m talking about” was more of a big bark than an actual fact from Sasha– she only knew about half the story when it came to the undead. Her only contact with them was running away from them with her mother a few months back.
“Bottom line is,” she finishes. “You shouldn’t go crossing that fence just because you haven’t seen a loved one in a while– they might be on their way already.”

“I don’t know. Time’s funny out here. Distance and direction, too. More than two weeks, less than two months.”
London clasps her hands together a little, almost unsure of how to proceed with her words– before looking to the other woman with a hopeful sparkle in her eyes.
“B–but, maybe things would be better if I got to tag along with you for a little while. Company would be so nice..”

So let me tell you about Lazarus Form Recovery.
This extension has been saving my roleplay-addicted ass since 2005*, when I was still using Mozilla Firefox. I’m so glad it transferred to Chrome because frankly I would lose my mind without it.
We’ve all had those days; thunderstorms, power outages, or even Tumblr just being an asshole. Suddenly your computer shuts down or your post gets eaten, and you lose that giant five paragraph reply you were making. GOD DAMNIT, you think as you curl up into a ball and sob your eyes out.
( or smash your laptop against the wall; I’m not judging )
The aptly-named Lazarus brings your post ( or forms, if you’re filling out a job application! ) back from the dead by saving your entered data for retrieval as you type. It’s as simple as navigating back to the web form, hitting the Lazarus button in the corner of the text field, and selecting the version you wish to restore. Each draft appears as a preview as your hover your pointer over each saved draft, so there should be little need for repetitive clicking as you check which one you want.
It looks like this:
Circled, you can see that Lazarus is pretty innocuous. It stays in the corner and won’t bother you at all until you have a need for it – but it saves you SO MUCH time and grief. I recommend this not only to roleplayers but also to people looking for jobs, regular bloggers who are prone to long text posts, and people who use tumblr or other platforms for journaling. It’s an incredibly useful tool and I really can’t imagine my ‘net experience without it.
“Haha, what the fuck?”
