i feel like chris would be the type to wear a small locket charm on his neck with your picture on it.
you gave it to him as your 2nd year anniversary gift for being together. you still didnt know what he really does for a living but you do know that he's like a military man. he always tries hard enough to shield you from the horrors of the world and youre willing to look past on what he's hiding until he tells you himself.
you dont know how much the locket means to him when you gave it to him, you even laughed at him when you saw tears forming in his eyes as he clutched the necklace in his huge hands.
"oh baby". you cooed as you ran your hands on his clean cut hair before hugging him, your arms can barely hug all of him but its cute. he might be this strong, big man but he's actually the biggest softie, like a big bear.
you swore when you first met him, the first thing that you thought was a teddy bear.
he holds the locket in his hands like a lifeline before he asked you to put it on him.
then ever since you gave it to him, chris never really takes it off, even in the shower which you find silly. good thing you bought it on a very good store, so it really doesnt rust or fade very fast.
everytime he goes to work, chris never really forgets to clutch it in his hands before giving it a squeeze then going out of his car to meet his squad or go in the HQ.
whenever he's on a mission and before taking off for another country, he never forgets to kiss the locket then tucking it in his clothes.
and when if he's about to start the mission or ready for take off, he always never forgets to stare at your beautiful face that is tucked inside the locket. you have your pretty smile on the picture with your eyes shining brightly.
he'll rub a thumb on the picture with the softest smile on his face, his squad sometimes catching him on the act before one of them secretly takes a photo.
probably for blackmail or something lol. or sometimes they send it to you.
with a soft smile on his face, he then brings the locket to his lips and press a lingering kiss there while saying i love you in his mind.
he'll tuck your locket back in his clothes before his face switches on in his alpha mode, as what the squad calls it.
"lets move out". chris said, voice deep and serious as he signals his squad to form their formation before all clutching their respective guns and raiding the place.
