The next morning, Alle woke up still wrapped out in Murphy's arms, snuggled into his chest. Smiling, she kissed the tattoo on his chest and slid out from under his arms and out of the bed. Stretching, she shivered in the apartment, she'd forgotten to turn the heat on and it was freezing. Looking around, she found Murphy's sweater and slipped it on, inhaling his scent as she slid it over her head.
He grabbed the pillow, nomming on it a little as he sighed out, still sleepy. His face brushing on the warmth surface, inhaling her scent on it. It took him a while to wake up and realize she wasn’t there by his side. “Alle…?” he mumbled softly, eyes half-lidded as he turned to sit up in bed, looking around. A shiver climbed up his back, he got up from bed, grabbing his boxers and tshirt to get something warm before he walked out the room.
"Mornin’ pretty lass" he said with a smile reaching for her and kissing her shoulder.
He laughed a bit and playfully tickled up her sides while having his face nuzzling and tickling her neck. “Me Ma would ‘ave fun wit’ ye. I can ‘ssure ye tat ye’d end u’ bein’ friends”
"Bu’ ‘m gonna tell ye tat ye gotta stop worryin’ ‘bout yer parents…If ye dun like ‘em, jus’ run away from ‘ome. ‘ome is wherever yer comfty n’ ‘ave people who love ye n’ care ‘bout ye…n’ usually ye dun’ get tat from family". Wise words from someone who actually had a tight and loving family.
He took a sip of his coffee and let himself fall back, furrowing under the blankets again while he caressed her side with his hand, arms wrapped around her. It felt nice to be there, far nice that in their sorry excuse of house. He sighed a bit and smiled “I wouldn’ mind ‘avin’ ye ‘round all tae time…”
"I hope so." She says, nuzzling him back and giggling before sobering up. "I wish I could say the same about my mother and you. But she wouldn’t." She looks at him honestly, sighing and leaning her head against his shoulder. He’s right about the family thing though and she tells him. "The best family is the one you make for yourself, right?" She asks, kissing him on the cheek and sighing in content at his touch. It was nice having him near. "I wouldn’ mind either. But Connor might be annoyed."
"Well dun ye worry ‘bout me brudder. I’ll be tae one talkin’ ta ‘im. I ‘no ‘ow tae deal wit ‘im" A smile crept up his face, lightining it up at her answer. He was feeling all sorts of happiness whenever Alle was close to him. The kind of your family doesn’t give you but still feels as good as their loving.
"If anyone can, it's you." She joked, leaning back against and purring at his touch. God, she was really liking the feel of his hand on her side. It was nice, and he was feeling especially cozy. Alle was a lot happier with him than she was willing to admit to herself even. It just felt right. She set her coffee mug on her nightstand, snuggling into his side. "'S too cold. Let's stay in bed and snuggle all day."
