No Misgendering Nonbinary/Trans Creators. I literally should not have to say that. any asks referring to any nonbinary creators with the wrong/incorrect pronouns/etc will Not be posted, and if i fuck up, tell me. This is mostly about Ranboo. No, you cannot send ranboo transfem truthing.

Never assume i know anything about the media you're submitting unless you Know the Mod OR it's dsmp. if it's not something you know i personally am familiar with (or if its not dsmp related) CLARIFY the media. i am clueless (i ALWAYS know dsmp)

my problem is that i approach RPF as a serious undertaking and a legitimate form of genre fiction with all the particular literary conventions that implies and this approach makes me act and sound like a crazy person to RPF shippers who notice chemistry between two celebrities and want to imagine a "what if they kissed for real" scenario lol
like for example there are one million fics between actors who kiss on screen where they run lines and "practice" the kiss in one of their trailers. but standard industry practice is generally to substitute narration of the action while running lines / in rehearsal; no physical contact unless the intimacy coordinator is present. if your subjects are famously Professional (as my current one is), and it would be out of character to break this rule, would it not be hotter to follow the "letter of the law" but not the "spirit" and simply narrate escalating actions while making unbroken eye contact as the sexual tension reaches a breaking point? as vince gilligan said, let the characters drive the plot and you'll end up with a more interesting plot!
As someone who used to read 5sos fanfic/was big into that fandom I cannot think of anything else but Calum and Ashton (the bassist and the drummer) when I watch Heated Rivalry.
On my yearly(ish) re-read of a bandom chat fic that is just so fucking insane. It feels less like RPF and more like oc's that share the same names as members of emo bands
