In the comedy horror Dreamcast game ‘Illbleed’, you must battle against Zodick the Hellhog, a clear parody of Sonic. You must shoot his rings out, and then shoot the rings, in order to defeat him.
Illbleed (Sega - Dreamcast - 2001)
At the Tale End, Purrfect Apawcalypse, Grimm's Hollow, Imaginary Friends, Mistrick, Fantasy Maiden's Odd Hideout, Crowscare, Symbiosis, Sofia?, and Home's Embrace, are what I'd consider good introductory games to build up horror tolerance. Assuming you meant something relatively light on death traps, chase scenes, gore, etc? (Examples of "heavy" horror games would be: Witch's House, Cat in the Box, Mad Father, Mermaid Swamp, The Crooked Man, Blank Dream, Pocket Mirror)
These are good idea! I'll also look into Non-RPG horror games to try and dip my toes into. Hopefully I can build up my horror tolerance some OTL
Funnily enough I think I've watched all of those heavy horror games, except Crooked Man and I genuinely can't remember but maybe Pocket Mirror?
WAKE UP BITCHES MANLY'S LP OF THE COOKING COMPANION DLC IS LIVE!!!!
i love the angels of death anime but i wish they kept the cartoony/ stylized of the game instead of the basic run of the mill anime art style. it would’ve made the overall aesthetic pop :(
I love horror games, but I'm really bad at playing them myself - I usually just watch other people play because of that. But I wanna try to get braver.
So does anyone have any recs for a real "babies first horror game"? Something to help me build up my spooky tolerance?
@enivlens
Maybe Higurashi? It's more of a psychological horror game, so it doesn't visually show very many scary images! If you're looking for something shorter or a more playable game, the RPG maker game the Witch's House is also a fairly mild spooky game! :D
Good idea! Honestly I started watching someone play Higurashi but eventually bought the game for myself, though I've yet to actually play through it.
I haven't played Witches House but I know I played Ao Oni as a kid. Maybe I should try to play more RPG horror myself since, even when stuff chases you, it's usually more of a small jump rather than intense atmosphere.
Thanks for the suggestion! If you know any other games, of any game medium, lemme know!
Real Shit? I'm both excited and kinda apprehensive. I hope it's the story they want to tell, and not pandering to theorists like MatthewPatt hew

And everytime Garry is on screen we should cheer.

I was raving for Cooking Companions with the demo alone, but surprisingly didn't get around to watching the full release... until now.
I'm on part 1 of Manly's let's play and I'm fucking PUMPED it's already stellar.
