Hello femslash aficionados!

We hope 2021 has arrived smoothly for you fellows of fine taste!

Surely it can only get better now, with the arrival of our very first prompts for 2021. 

We are ringing in the new year with the following prompts:

plans - either for the new year, or individual plans! whatever plans your characters are making! scarves - house scarves, knitted scarves, soft silk scarves wrapped around wrists for reasons we surely won’t get into here but we definitely invite you to! letters - no texting here folks, we want to see letters, maybe even sealed with a kiss (entirely up to you).

Now that we have armed you with the all the prompts you need to start the year, the details!

You can find the ao3 collection here. Please tag the blog in your creations so we can reblog! Also please feel free to submit a tumblr post or send us an ask if we don’t reblog your creation! we try to reblog everything we see, but sometimes tumblr hates us we miss things! and we want to share your wonderful creations far and wide!

How to submit your work

You have completed your fic or artwork and want to submit it? Here’s how to do it.

There are two ways of submitting your work to the collection. Which one you chose is completely up to you.

1. Submitting it directly to the collection

On the collection page, you have the option to directly post your work to the collection under “post to collection”.

Fill in all the information as you usually would. Feel free to include your prompt somewhere in your notes but it’s not necessary to. If you don’t know how to tag, check out this post by the Wolfstar Librarian.

Add the fest mod as a co-creator (rsromance_fest).

Once you’re done, click on post and you’re good to go.

2. Manually adding it to the collection

Go on the AO3 website and click on “post" and then “new work”.

Fill in all the information as you usually would. Feel free to include your prompt somewhere in your notes but it’s not necessary to. If you don’t know how to tag, check out this post by the Wolfstar Librarian.

Add your work to the collection by searching R/S Romance Fest in the collection search bar or type RS_Romance_Fest in directly.

Add the mod account (rsromance_fest) as a co-creator and post your work.

Why do I have to add a co-creator?

It helps us mod with posting and reviewing your work. We won’t make any changes to the actual body of your work. The mod account will be removed as a co-creator before reveals happen.

Do I have to fill out a header?

There is no need to. We mods will do that for you once posting begins.

Once we have reviewed your work, we will send you a confirmation mail.

If you have any further questions or run into any problems, please let us now. We’ll gladly help wherever we can.
