I haven't been able to concentrate on anything this weekend, I've only been processing gaming news.

Once I get through LumenTale and Time Stranger (and the GW2 update in September), I think I'll be done with gaming until 2027.

I won't play Planet Zoo 2 much and I'm unsure if Monsterpatch will actually come out this year.

Ready for Guild Wars 3

Guild Wars 3 beta in fall 2027.

Monster Hunter Wilds Ascension in 2027.

I probably need a new PC to run both properly. But Guild Wars 3 is coming to PlayStation 5, Monster Hunter Wilds is already on PlayStation 5. So do I get a PS5? But Monster Hunter Wilds is also coming to Switch 2 eventually.... I don't know what to do.

A new PC is probably the smartest thing to do. Because I cleaned my PC from dust very recently, but the fans still go BRRRR when playing GW2... Planet Zoo 2 is also around the corner.

I'm so excited that Guild Wars 3 is real, Idk how many times I've told myself that I would love to explore Orr in its hay day.

I felt some disappointment that it is set in the past, because I want to keep playing as a Sylvari and see how Tyria changed after the threat of the Elder dragons is gone. I've also wanted to visit Aurene in the future. Non of that will obviously happen if it's set in the past.

But! Guild Wars 2 will continue being developed, I can keep playing as a Sylvari there and it's not impossible that we will see Aurene again in that game. But I do wonder... how many more GW2 expansions can we get before our Commander/Wayfinder gets canonically too old to go on these adventures lol.

And it does seem like there are Asuras in GW3, I'd be happy to play as an Asura too.

I'm so excited for the Guild Wars thing on Friday...

People are speculating it's Guild Wars 3, of course. But that it's also set in the past, since the architecture in the teaser looks like Orr, but before it sunk to the bottom of the ocean. But... didn't Trahearne heal Orr, or something..??

Like, isn't it canon that Orr is healing? The only reason we don't see visual evidence of that is because the maps are frozen in time. They can't go back and change them, obviously.

Going back into Tyria's past does not sound interesting to me, and it would limit them creatively somewhat. Like, we know what happends in the future if that's the case, that's not fun. Also, Sylvari wouldn't exist yet!

I think the teaser shows Orr, but way in the future, when it's healed! Thanks to Trahearne. That sounds so much more fun and interesting, to see how the world has changed after our adventures in Guild Wars 2's Tyria.

I love bullying Incineroar

I really dislike Incineroar, especially since I love Torracat so much. But I have a newfound appreciation for Incineroar since my Champions journey; it's like my favorite Mega Pokémon were specifically designed to counter it.

Even if Incineroar manage to Intimidate Gallade before he goes Mega, he still got Sacred Sword which ignores stat changes. Which means Parting Shot is also less effective (it only effect his other moves). But once Gallade has Mega evolved, you can't come in and Intimidate or Fake Out flinch Gallade again because of Inner Focus.

And Incineroar will most likey not stop being as overused as it is any time soon, it is called the best Pokémon of all time. Which means Gallade will do well as long as Incineroar is around.

I got to Master Rank again! And I've only been playing one game per day since the season reset.

This match was super easy. They opened with Incineroar and Sneasler and I open with Whimsicott and Gallade, so I thought "ok so possibly two Fake Outs are coming my way". So I use Helping Hand with Whimsicott because it goes before Fake Out and I mega evolve Gallade so he gets Inner Focus. Sneasler Fake Out Gallade and with the help of Helping Hand Gallade use Sacred Sword into Incineroar and knocks it out.

On the next turn they send out Garchomp and foolishly tries to flinch me with Rock Slide, but I obviously Prankster Encore Sneasler and Gallade Triple Axel Garchomp and knocks it out. It must been a very tanky Garchomp because it took all three Triple Axel hits to knock it out, it usually only takes two (and I guess I also got intimidated by Incineroar at the start).

And then they forfeit!
