— ♡ ❝ a gasp, and all of her muscles coming to attention. her blue eyes seem slightly hazy and her lips remain at a constant slightly in awe sort of part. ruby is shorter than her by a little, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference in how perfectly she manages to get the upper hand.

RUBY SMIRKS at the reaction she gets. it makes her less nervous. another sharp tug, this time to bare taylor’s neck. the skin is soft and warm under her mouth, and she drags her tongue up along the veins there, tracing them until she finds the flutter of taylor’s pulse. she bites down in that spot, drawing up a bruise under her teeth.

— ♡ ❝ it’s been strange, all of this with ruby. but it isn’t like she’s complaining. ruby is everything she could want in a partner, really. intelligent, good sense of humor, attractive (beyond belief), undeniably dominant and definitely not on the vanilla side of things. it’s hard not to be flustered around her, and her smile is a little shaky in return when ruby speaks.

IT’S COMFORTING to her to see that taylor looks just as nervous as ruby is. but she’s learned in her life that confidence formulates once you fake it long enough. so she steps in, finding a fistful of taylor’s hair, tugging at blonde strands that fall like sunlight around ruby’s calloused knuckles. she tugs taylor in, and it presses them together, hipbones bumping.
