This is driving me crazy—I’m looking for a season 10 fic that is heavy on the hurt/comfort and angsty emotions for Mickey. From what I recall, when Ian breaks his leg, Mickey offers to pay for medical expenses. The proposal happens similarly to canon, but then they go outside to talk and Mickey says Ian doesn’t have to actually go through with it. Sandy plays a bigger role as a sounding board, from what I remember as well. I’m hoping someone can help—this is driving me bonkers!
