"Y-Ya do?" She stopped and looked at him. She didn't understand anything. Why was she so happy? It's just a present for him. Nothing else. "…Ya-You're just being polite… anyway, come on. The cake's gonna melt if you don't hurry up. It's difficult to make ice-cream cake, alright?'
Ruby grinned and nodded. "I do like it though, Sapph." And with that, he shut his mouth and changed topics. "You know how to make ice cream cake? I can't even do that!" Ruby hated to admit, but he baked a LOT. He loved fixing things like cakes and stuff like that and loved to eat them just as much.

Yellow bit her lip. “Then why would he propose … ?”
"Hey, you looked like that once too. And he hasn’t even grown all the way yet," Yellow was blushing slightly.
"He?" Ruby pouted a bit. "Not gonna lie, I was hoping you would have a little girl so I could run around dressing her up in a bunch of cute little dresses." Ruby laughed a bit but hugged Yellow.
"Ruby, this is only because a strange gray man told me to do this, please if it makes you uncomfortable, you have permission to slap me."
Ruby glanced up at the Champion. ”What is it, Steven?”
"Ruby, do you realize how much money I have between helping my father at Devon Corp and being the old Champion?" the older man asks him and he just glances at his fingers, wiggling them. "You honestly don’t need to worry. I’ll give you a cut off limit at 1,000 of you want."
Ruby wanted to pout, but the champion had a point. "F-fine, spend what you want."

Yellow bit her lip. “Then why would he propose … ?”
Yellow beamed and nodded. She swiftly found a folder and handed it to Ruby, “There you go. You can’t see the gender or anything.”
Ruby looked over the photos and made a funny face. "This is a child? It looks so weird." Having never seen a ultrasound picture before the boy was shocked. It looked more like a ralts to him, though he meant no offense to Yellow.

She can't helped but blush a bit. "Idiot Priss boy…" she grumbled, doing her best to hide the growing blush and to resist the temptation not to pull away.
Ruby just smiled. "Shall we go?" He bowed jokingly before pulling her along behind him to the fellow coordinator's party which could be heard from down the street as they approached.
"Oh yea. Open it." She mumbled as she tossed the box over, glaring at her "hand", which was not willing to let go. She silently argued with herself, watching as he had the box with him. It contained a small locket that looked like a Luvdisc, which contained photos of them together.
Ruby caught the box and smiled as he looked at it. He opened it slowly and smiled when he saw the locket. It was beautifully made. Every detail of the luvdisc was just right. He opened it half expecting it to be empty, but a smile crossed his features as he saw the pictures. The coordinator hugged Sapphire tightly. "I LOVE IT!"

"Yes, I believe so. It’s that or she just helps me with my flowers whenever."
"C-can you find out what kind? I-I’d like to surprise her with some of her favorites." Ruby’s face blushed darkly. It wasn’t like him to mess around in other people’s business. Unless it came to the way they dressed, or fashion….or beauty….or-
Yellow raised her eyebrows but nodded all the same, “I can do that.” She thought about how she could approach the topic of flowers without giving Ruby away. Yellow didn’t want to tease the boy any more than she had so she changed the subject. ‘“So … by the way didn’t you want me to model some things? If you have them we can do that while we wait.”
"Ooh yes! I just wasn’t sure if you were in the mood too." Ruby flashed a grin and hugged Yellow.
"Ah, no, I’m fine! By the way, Ruby, I have ultrasound pictures." Yellow rubbed his back.
"I wanna see!" Ruby smiled and glanced at the girl. "Pleeeeeeease."

"So, let’s finish getting you ready so we can go. I can’t wait to dance with the most beautiful girl there." Ruby smiled as he took her hand and handed her a pair of flats. He didn’t want her getting injured dancing in heels.
"Oh. Ta most beautiful? I though ya ta one who...
Ruby laughed a bit and caressed Sapphire's cheek. "She's right here."

"Ruby. I came just strictly for business purposes." She stared at the other, concealing the present as well as her grin.
"Hmm? Sapph?" He looked at the girl in a confused mannor. She never just showed up. "What is it?"
"It has came to my attention that Norman has some information I need. As his son I expect you to know." She was doing her best not to laugh, and is concealing her amusement very well. Though she was on the verge of rolling around on the floor in laughter.
"Oh….well if its matters about battling, you should know I’m not exactly the one to ask." Ruby was down after the last fight with his parents. He had already moved out but they not only forgot his birthday, but decided to lecture him on how he could have a better life. The boy sighed. "A-anyway, what was it you needed to know?"
"Well, the question is something simple. And in no way is it related to battling. I had quite a conversation with a certain gym leader on that topic." She scowled a little, before straightening her face. "Anyway, I would like to know if today is a special someone’s birthday, like Wally, or maybe Norman himself…" she paused a little, pretending to think, before giggling at his reaction and pulling the gift from behind her back. "Happy birthday to ya, Prissy boy!"
Ruby looked hurt at first. She had forgotten, but she was trying to remember someone els-. His thoughts stopped abruptly when he saw the gift. "S-sapph, y-you did remember?" It wasn't like him to tear up, but after being forgotten by everyone but Yellow. This meant a lot to him. He hugged her tight.
Ruby looked confused for the first second as he glanced at the girl cowering behind him. When he saw the men however, all that confusion went away in a moment’s notice. ”Who are these guys, Sapph?” The crimson eye boy asked.
"W-well….I was at this party…a-and-" That was…
Ruby glanced back at Sapph as he twirled a pokeball in his hand. “I will hold them off. You take Pilo and get out of here.” He stepped towards the men. “I may hate fighting, but you guys just picked on the wrong girl. Not one of you are laying a finger on Sapphire again.”
