So. Saw that ‘draw your plushes as Animal Crossing villagers’ prompt. And got incredibly carried away with what were originally warm up sketches…

I really shouldn’t be allowed to make OCs. They’re only ever gentle horror or utter trash. But this was incredibly fun! I want to make more! Honestly have been wanting to make a fortune cookie set for WEEKS too but haven’t figured out what to theme it around. (Other than the aforementioned and very AC-appropriate horrortrashcore vibes I have going on. Hire me, Nintendo.)

These images are unholy love children of Pocket Camp categories and @animalcrossingqrdesigns‘s amiibo cards ‘cause I’m cursed and that’s the only AC game I’ve been able to play so far… one day, ACNH… one day.

Managed to accidentally walk into the autograph area near the end of AX and thanks to a kind staffer I gave some DDLC merch to Dan Salvato and got an autograph on my own sticker in return (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑

i love the billie eilish pin the most tbh i didn't expect it to be so satisfying... it's discounted currently to be the same price as the others because it's got defects rn but no one seems interested |||OTL same with the kh charms and those are hell to assemble ;v;

Just realized I didn’t make an Anime Expo Artist Alley (in Kentia Hall) post yet! hope everyone's enjoyed super smash ultimate this weekend!!! thought it would be a good time to mention i've got a couple new stickers, specifically a bowser and bowsette set— and my entire store's on sale! :') i'm hoping to make these as a pin set, too....

they're specifically inspired by the inexplicable energy in this setheverman post btw. i had both photos saved for reference and it helped a lot

so here’s an OC sketch i got carried away in i’m not sure what his name is right now but let’s call him steve.  i submitted a fandom-adjusted version of steve for a fandom zine recently but he got rejected, so i wanted to try redrawin’ normcore steve. i might try to reuse that character sheet for something else but if i don’t, i’ll repost here later.

i dream of one day using steve for dnd so i can play as some dork who wears a potted plant in a baby carrier. steve is convinced he is a plant possessing a human. how i’d use him would vary, but default steve? is just a dude with a plant who has the power of Gun or Knife (he paints them with flowers). he has a personality somewhere between bill cipher and an alien poorly pretending to be human, and is very cheerfully friendly and enthusiastic about life while looking a little dead inside. he wears nothing but a well worn bathrobe with a tank n boxers n crocs. 

essentially, he has the energy of a man hungover in a walmart at 3am with no idea of how he got there but with great determination to rescue or kidnap local flora while armed and dangerous(?). 

steve’s vaguely based partly on a strange man in a blue bathrobe i saw outside my neighborhood when i was in elementary. he was waving to every passerby, then pointing to himself, making a heart sign, and pointing back at them. all of it was extremely excited while clearly mouthing (or yelling, the windows were closed) ‘i-love-you’ with each equivalent gesture and his head flopping around for emphasis. it’s still strangely memorable a decade later.

I know the point of the trend was originally a comic, and that turned into people just wanting porn. Which is why I said I was missing it because I wanted a cool safe-for-work anime villain-y redesign that I wish was even chunkier. But the crown? It’s unconfirmed what it ACTUALLY does for sure. 

Honestly, the most Nintendo-accurate rendering of Bowsette out there is the one where she looks like a Don Bluth character. There’s tons of lady enemies built similarly already. I don’t doubt Nintendo could do Bowser like the original comic, but I think they’d keep their usual Mario enemy trend. Also, after all the rule 34? They’d likely think it would be better to look full chunky or not work at all for family friendly humor value.

…so i went to a pin fair today! and between that and AX! i’m dying! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ on the plus side, seeing stuff and then. seeing that some things i want don’t exist yet? i have some ideas for original pins and fan pins n other stuff, which i might start postin’ on here. REALLY need to find me a pin manufacturer that does spinny pins, though, n maybe locketed-magnetic pins? also: i can’t believe i’m saying this, but i need more hats.

Having a sale on my DDLC charms @ booth L09 tomorrow, the last day of AX2018, since they came in so late. $11 for beaded, $7.50 without beading, $35/$28 for a full set of charms with/without beading. All purchases come with the sticker shown. Beaded charms are extremely limited since I had to throw them together last night when they came in and I was sick from some food. I’m not sure if I’m putting them up on Etsy after, so this is basically a last call.

Doki Doki Literature Club charms are up! I only have a VERY limited quantity due to it coming in 2 hours ago, and I won’t be adding the red text after the first couple sets unless requested. I wish they’d come in sooner but I think they came out decent.
