Okay so guys hear me out.

What if in the sequel of TFOne, Megatron witness OP gradually transforming back to Orion by willingly giving up the Matrix and eventually the transformation cog as well.

I imagined a situation where they were out there alone and working together, Megatron went from teasing OP being a self-sacrificing hero to slowly becoming more worrying and protective of OP after he gave up the Matrix for a necessary cause.

Then near the end of the story Megatron sees Orion again after OP give out his transformation cog to help, he grabs Orion to stop him from running into a place that only he can fit inside yet lethal.

“Stop Orion! You don’t have anything now!”

Orion paused for a second then turns and looks at Megatron with a smile

“I have everything I need.”

I guess they will still be the High Guards? Or part of the special team led by Megatron—one of the two “Primes” (he doesn’t like to be called that).

And I do think Megatron will apologize for damaging SS’s vocal cords (needs a little encouragement from OP), hopefully Ratchet can help fixing it.

I would like to imagine his optics turned full red as he has every intention to kill Sentinel at that moment, but the thought of Orion calms him so the optics turns partially yellow/orange as he stills holds some anger.

And in my mind his optics will stay that way even after he turns Megatron, representing his coexisting mercy and anger.
