“’K-kay...” He sort of...understood. He knew there was a difference between loving someone...and being in love, but he didn’t know how it felt. Somehow...it had simply begun to feel like Souji didn’t want him, either...just like everyone else. In the end, he couldn’t always keep a smiling face when he knew...he wasn’t so important to anyone. He turned away, hiding his face as the tears streamed down his cheeks, swiping helplessly at them, shoulders shaking as he fought back quiet sobs. He had nothing else to offer. Even Souji would find someone better. And then he’d be forgotten again.

Oh......He was really confused. Even thought Souji said that, and kissed his forehead...... “Am I...not special to you?” That was the only explanation he could gather. Souji’s description... “You’re special to me...” Souji was the only one who didn’t hurt him...so why...? He didn’t even care about the sex, but now...it felt like he’d done something bad. Is that why Souji didn’t want him? Maybe because he’d told Souji......that he had......with his other friends......

He just listened...but what Souji said made no sense to him. “But...I like you the most, Mister Souji.” For now, at least, though it had been that way for awhile. And what the young man said...trust......break him? “I don’t think you’d do that......and...” A pause. “...I feel sad when I’m alone for a long time and everyone is too busy to spend time with me, but I’m extra happy when I’m with you.”
