I have three bros that have haunted me for like twelve years. Their appearance and names have changed very little over the years, but their personalities never have. But god help me, for the life of me I haven’t found the perfect setting for a story in which to place them, and not for lack of trying. They originated back in the day in a wonky Norse gods fantasy and yet modern day setting, which made no sense but was fun, and I’ve plopped them up and put them down in about a hundred other things, and still nothing feels right. It kills me slowly inside. T__T So, to ease the suffering a little, I tried to take them out of my head and onto paper.
(anyway, meet the ambiguously gay trio)
Ilya, the good quiet serious don’t-talk-to-me-because-i-hate-u-but-i-will-also-die-for-u boi :
Heikki, the bad angry but ridiculously loyal simp for Erik boi :
And Erik, the loud-mouth goofball prince who tries to kill himself once every few months because he doesn’t wanna be a king but he’s always saved by Heikki or Ilya and he f’n hates them for it...boi :
Erik picks up his phone and texts Heikki, ‘BRB, throwing myself off a bridge,’ and Heikki’s all full on Titanic skidding up screaming ‘u jump, i jump’, because he’s a total simp loyal stalker friend.
Heikki and Ilya hate each other, because Ilya is foreign and Heikki hates foreigners and also because Ilya is Erik’s personal bodyguard and Heikki is a jealous MF. Ilya never says a word or lifts a hand, and Heikki torments him constantly until Erik makes him stop because Erik is a simp for Ilya it’s the Right Thing To Do™.
Erik’s one scar came from Ilya, when Ilya got sick of Heikki’s simp combat training and coddling and took over and gave Erik a what for, unintentionally.
One day they’ll find their home, but until then they continue to haunt me and influence many of my characters dynamics in other stories. Thanks for listening to my frustrated rambling.
ALSO, I swear to god they actually wear clothing, I just can’t paint clothes for shit so here we are.
