On the Sphere, Ivana was well renowned for her musical talents, often referred to as a violinist child-prodigy from her colleagues, family and peers. She made quite a living for her family with her music, performing countless recitals with no error and being shoved into the spotlight as a child.
Her father once gifted her a specially made bow for her violin, one that Ivana diligently looked after, cherished and saw as a good luck charm before every performance. She saw it as the personification of her parent’s love for her.
Unfortunately, as Ivana grew older and was pushed more into the spotlight, she was met with jealousy, vicious rumours and a tight schedule, leaving her little time for a social life or a circle of friends. Instead, she only had professional relationships and her bow for company, meaning she spent most of her time practicing under the guidance of her mentor and violin teacher.
Her teacher, who unfortunately tried to take advantage of Ivana’s trust and isolation, tried to force himself on her before one of her most important recitals. After refusing his advances, her rejection was not taking lightly and with him being a great name amongst the musician circle on the Sphere, he made it his next goal to ruin her career.
Rumours were spread, ruining her public image and insisting that She was the one to force herself on him, trying to use his influence as a grab at fame and fortune. This completely ruined her reputation, her own isolation leaving no one left to even consider her side of the story or back her up. Her own parents even turned their back on her, disowning her and telling her that she has ruined everything for them.
Ivana was blacklisted and dropped onto the Ground as punishment for ‘manipulation of the system’, being told she’s lost all of her worth now that can no longer perform or book shows. Her violin was taken from her, but she managed to keep her bow — smuggling it in her clothes until it was all she had left. She barely survived the fall, but got picked up by a merchant on the way to a city who took her spherite clothes as payment for the journey.
Because music was all she knew, she kept trying to make music with pieces of trash in the hopes it would work and that maybe, she would be able to garner enough attention to go back to the sphere. Hoping it will make her parents love her again. Nothing ever mimicked the sound of her violin, yet she still kept trying because she believed in her talents and wanted to show those who put her down here that she didn’t need them to shine.
After spending more time on the ground, becoming more accustomed to their ways and awakening her vital instrument, Ivana’s violin bow; Harmonia, can now make music with anything that isn't a violin when her vital instrument is activated and brushed against it.
In combat, the first form can mimic voices and sounds it has heard before. Each time you answer to the voices or are drawn in by the sound, you're forced to obey one command and you won't be released from the musics grasp until it’s complete or the conditions are met. When it comes to trash beasts, the melody produced from Harmonia can make them less hostile, confused and even tame the smaller ones, making them easier for the cleaners to deal with. Depending on the melody played, it can also have the opposite effect.
Given her musical talents, Ivana was able to work odd jobs between places as a performer. She was eventually discovered and picked up by Enjin and the other cleaners when they found her playing music in a shoddy bar, drawn in by the unique sound of her bow before realising she's a giver and inviting her to the cleaners.
She no longer wishes to return to the Sphere and has given up on her goal of having her family accept her again because she likes to believe she has found a new one.
