Had a dream that FR had decided for whatever reason to both revamp gathering and completely soup up egg drop rates at the same time. I didn't realize that the gathering screen was a lot darker bc in my dream I was half asleep. I didn't realize something was weird until on my first four /digging/ turns I got four lightning eggs in a row. Was thinking about posting in the forums about it bc wtf and accidentally clicked on homepage bc again half asleep. Saw there was a new announcement, an auraboa hatchling next to the word Eggpalooza. Woke up thinking that this would absolutely decimate egg prices.

AUGH the new MCPE touch controls are killing me. The buttons are too far apart, making things uncomfortable at best and near impossible to use at worst, and they don't have the same range of... what's the phrase...? Touch input? And if your finger slides off a button it don't keep it pressed, so changing direction or going from ascension to descension can't be done in a single movement, and is consequentially a fucking nightmare. The only real way I've found to change direction easily is to essentially stand still, which is also a fucking nightmare.

Some of it can be mitigated by the experimental customize controls, but when they say experimental hot damn do they mean experimental. The hotbar and inventory buttons are borderline unusable if you use the customize controls; they don't register input like 80% of the time. Also (for context I have d-pad on L and sneak on R) if you're going up and down on land, such as on scaffolding, the buttons to ascend and descend occasionally overlap, and the descend button is like half the size of the ascend button. If you try to fix the descend button size, once you get off the scaffolding the sneak button then shrinks to roughly the original size of the descend button. The opacity of the buttons, at least, can be remedied with customize controls, allowing maps to be seen properly again.

I've been playing since MCPE lite, and this may be the most frustrating thing I've had to deal with wrt minecraft. I personally would very fucking much prefer to have the old version of the touch controls back.
