Getting pissed off at Dana Terrance for confirming that Frankie is a cisgender woman is so fucking stupid considering that it was never implied to begin with. Y’all are just angry that your headcanon wasn’t confirmed as canon by Dana and are now trying to paint her as a “bigot” because of it.

However, you don’t need a creator’s approval for your headcanons, ships, and opinions on characters anyway. Just enjoy the series and fandom instead of starting discourse and spreading misery.

Not even a week of the pilot being out and KOG has already gotten into controversy. Damn can't have anything in fandom. Oh well.

All I will say is that there will never be one show that magically represents every part of the queer experience in a way everyone will be happy with. Sometimes it means messy representation, sometimes it just means some labels are excluded. What matters is variety, having lots of shows that cover different facets of the experience. And if you're sad you weren't able to see your experience in a character, create something that reflects that experience.

Tldr stop acting like a show is awful for not representing literally everybody.

She's not, at least as far as we're aware. People are saying it's transphobic of her to say Frankie isn't trans– people were interpreting her as trans bc her shitty boss called her "Franklin" during a confrontation, which was interpreted as him deadnaming her. Dana confirmed that this wasn't the case, and Frankie just had a lot of masc nicknames. Instead of saying "Oh, okay, glad she wasn't getting deadnamed onscreen," people decided this meant she secretly hated trans women

iirc she also had to say before the show even aired that Frankie and Andi weren't a couple but it was cool of people to ship them anyway. And well. The internet just takes the tiniest things and makes them a problem
