Ahhhh, such nice climate.

It was a little muggy down in these dense jungles but the warmth was just perfect. Best of all, it wasn't like many really made their way around these parts, so she found herself enjoying her peace and solitude amongst the trees as she floated through the logs, as if she were swimming in a pool. She moves her arms around as she turns herself, looking down at the scenery of various interesting flora hidden under the protection of the large trees covering the planet's lung. Just then she would notice something—or rather, someone wandering about the ruins she ended up encountering. Bright white fur glistened like glitter, she couldn't deny it was rather lovely. Her awe was however broken by the realization that her peace had been interrupted. Oh well, no harm in messing around with the innocent, right?

"Why, what's a little mobian doing in such an unfriendly area? Pretty white fox, you may get your fur messed up in the mud!"

Living this far into the jungles had it's fair share of positives and negatives. One major benefit was being away from large cities and even small towns. It was incredibly rare for Amari to encounter anyone all the way out here. She could conduct her research without distraction or having to simply deal with people. Of course the downside was the vixen would have to head into the nearest city to acquire supplies nature did not possess. Such ventures were always irritating since it did require dealing with crowds of people all around.

So Amari was enjoying the peace and quiet as she looked over the ruins, surveying the outside to make sure all was well. Part of her work was to preserve the ruins and not damage them if possible. Well, unfortunately, her day of peace came to a screeching halt as an unfamiliar voice rang out. One of her ears twitched before the blue notebook was snapped closed in her hand before being tucked away. Why did it have to be today?

When she turned around to face whoever was speaking, the last thing Amari expected to see was a floating individual.. And one with a singular eye at that. Not that there was anything wrong with that, per say. Simply was an unusual sight to see a being fly without some manner of aid. "I actually live around here. Have been for years now.. And why would I worry about mud when I can just wash it off later?" Seemed like a common sense solution really. This would be a horrible profession for the mobian if mud bothered her. "Anyway, if you're lost then just follow the path over there. I don't make a habit of guiding tourists."

An ear twitched at hearing the familiar voice. How long had it been indeed? Amari usually lost track of time while traveling and working. Plus she still wasn’t quite used to having friends or acquaintances actually care when it concerns her whereabouts. “Long time no see, Dan. I’ve been here, there, a lot of places really.” It was hard to keep track of without flipping through her journal. The fox walked over to Dan, brushing some lingering dust off her shoulders. “I see you’re still in one piece. How have you been?”
