“This is quite the team up! You’re a famous detective, and I’m a dashing and modest reporter, together we can chronicle all the strange happenings of this city. I can already see the headlines now!” Holy grail war? What’s that? That’s not nearly as important as abusing the skills of her servant into writing newspaper articles. 

    “I wasn’t sure about this at first but it seems we have similair interests after all.” He’d tuck the pipe in between his lips as he looked at the girl. “Alright, Master, where should we start?”

A little exaggeration never hurt anyone, except those assaulted with anxiety and who’re prone to greatly enlarge the size of their problems in their heads. Such is the case with Shintaro, who’s so terrorized by Sherlock’s words that, upon grabbing the bottle, leaves almost half of its content to fall on the floor in the middle of his distress.

Whatever water is left on the bottle is quickly chugged down his throat, allowing him to recompose himself enough to look at the other properly. “I-I don’t wanna die of multiple organ failure!” He suddenly spurts, before becoming aware of his own demeanor.

“I-I mean… Uhhhh… T-Thanks for the water.” His head turns away from the other, probably in embarrassment over his manners. Now that Shintaro takes a better look, this guy looks pretty fancy. Combed down hair, old styled Western clothes… Could this be a Servant?

   That’s exactly the reason to exaggerate, even more, It works out for him nevertheless. He watched the youth fumble and drink, a stifled laugh coming from the man as he heard the boy babble on before regaining his right mind to speak normally. 

  “You’re very welcome, Try not to get dehydrated again, otherwise, I have no choice but to let you die.”

Not long into her exploration of the area was when she came across a sharply dressed man, who also seemed to be rather absorbed in his surroundings. He reminded Aqua of detectives in books she used to read. 

But, when she got a little closer, she could feel something off about him. Was he a servant? The command spells on her hand still had no reaction, which meant he wasn’t the one she was paired with. However, curiosity gets the best of people and before she think about what she was doing, her mouth opened. 

“You’re a servant aren’t you?” It slipped out before she could stop herself. 

This also didn’t seem like the best way to start a conversation.

"I didn’t mean to state the obvious, but this whole situation with Masters and Servants seems rather strange, I just never imagined someone who seems like a detective could be a Servant.”

   Two or three days now and still no Master, call him impatient, and indeed he was in matters like this, but this was a very disappointing fact that he didn’t have one yet. This led Holmes to visit various areas in the utopia in an attempt to gather Intel. Each person who passed showed nothing that interests him. 

   That’s when he sensed The Master coming towards him. Not his, unfortunately, he could tell that much from watching her from the corner of his eyes. She checked her command seals, So she hasn’t found her servant just yet, and seeing as he felt no connection to her whatsoever-Truly, the disappointment only seeped further in the more she spoke.

  “Neither would I, but it seems that is how my position has unraveled. I assume you to be a Master, without your Servant so it would seem. You don’t have a clue where they are right now, do you?”

It’s indeed a grave matter in Utopia, the lack of Masters, but thankfully there are some out there giving their all for the cause of humankind! Take Shintaro, for example. A genius boy like him with lots of knowledge on programming and an hyper eidetic memory is just the perfect profile for a Master, even more for a robot Servant!

…Unfortunately, his body isn’t nearly as impressive as his mind. His obstipation at wearing a freaking red jacket in the middle of summer like this sure proves to be capable of reducing him to the floor, as he slowly succumbs to the almighty sun.

“Aaaaahh… W-Water, pleeeease…” It’s utterly pathetic. Perhaps Sherlock will have mercy of his soul.

  Ah, a diamond in the rough? ( Though, the more he looks at him, he seems to look more and more like a pebble covered in glitter )  No matter, Holmes would take a glance at him and walk away, if not for a minute or two, to venture off into a nearby shop for a bottle of water for the youth.  He certainly looked fatigue, cowering in the sun’s blazing rays begging for water. 

  Physical strength did not seem to be his strong suit, though that’s usually to be expected of a master. The fact he felt as though no servant was around made it all the more of a reason for him to use this as an opportunity. A favor or two can definitely work to his benefit.

  “You have water here,” Holmes would say, setting the bottle down in front of the young master. “I suggest you drink quickly, You’ll pass out at any second at this rate. Dehydration is your greatest danger here. Best case scenario is damage to your kidneys and worst case scenario is a stroke or seizure. If you don’t drink quickly, well, you can figure out what might happen yourself.” A little exaggeration never hurt anyone.

"The end once again? Humanity has a funny way finding it’s self close to that.” Holmes would take his pipe and bring it to his lips as he examined his surroundings. A so called Utopia filled with masters and servants, all uniting for a single cause. Curious, though he doubts all would be so willing for the sake of humanity.

   “First the situaton in 2016 now this.” He had spent a good amount of his day checking the place where he would presumingly spend his days. His surrogate master was hadly someone-or something- He wanted to spend his time with. What good would that be to try and make conversation with something that couldn’t properly answer? 

   And so that is how he found himself roaming the streets, musing to no one in particulair his own thoughts and observations. If There’s a lack in masters, I should be concerned on how well this plan to save humanity is going to go. Some disappoint might be attributing to the thought but, there was no time for moping on that.There was much to explore, people to meet!
