Ivory is still around the internet, though not on tumblr. She still checks in on mine on occasion (everyone wave and say hi Ivory!). I just went to see a musical with her the other day.

She makes a very cute little otter. I’ll change her back in a couple of hours. Perhaps for the time being, someone could float her in a bathtub or something. Give her some stacking cups. Keep her out of trouble.

What have you been up to lately~?

Oh the usual no good. Been enjoying a bit of calm, lately, believe it or not. A rare thing to have in Storybrooke. Dramatics here tend to be like waves in a small pool: made worse by the small space.

As far as calm goes, though, I’ve adopted Usagi Peterson. Having a young daughter around might be the last thing you think of when I say ‘calm’, but she is such a calm to the storm that is my mind.

Shop’s looking a bit dusty. How long since I’ve cleaned this place? Well. Perhaps I’ll give it a dusting. Any questions while I work? I do miss your questions. They always kept me entertained during the more tedious work.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Oh, thank you!! I had a lovely birthday. Usagi brought me an ice cream cake. (It was a little melty, but don't tell her. It was still delicious.)

As for gifts, I got a Sinatra record I didn't have, and a record player (to replace one that got broken... long story), and a bottle of scented bath oil.

Er-- that last one sounds sexy. No, that one is because my friends think I am far too tense and need to relax a lot more than I seem to be able to. This was their solution. Good, friends, I suppose. It smells of lavender.

Oh, not many. Though there is a lawyer in town who also is rather fond of suits. Not on an everyday basis like myself, but he's worn them around occasionally. He's not quite sinister, but he's had his less-than-moral days, I suppose. Lovely friend. Holds his liquor better than I do, unfortunately for me.

I believe I've seen the one you mean. The goat was sick without the burro around? Perhaps you're thinking of me as the goat or the burro? I believe I have been both numerous times throughout my long life, both needed friend and one in need of a friend.

i've been out of the loop a while. how's canon treating you? things good?

Cannons? I've fortunately not been near any cannons, dear. I rather prefer ninjas over pirates.

But ah, my life over the past... what, year? I've been in my shop, as usual. Buying, selling, loaning. I suppose the biggest thing that's happened has been that I've been working at adopting Usagi Peterson. I don't know if you recall her? She's that little rabbit girl who would sometimes pop by and bring me food. I've discovered that adoption is a rather tedious project when my... let's say 'questionable' past is taken into consideration. But I'm doing all I can.

My leg is doing fine, dear, thank you for asking. I've actually been in physical therapy at Storybrooke General to make it even better. It's rather undignified, but it's helping.
