Sage of truth…. Oh what a nice young man

A soft scoff, following his other half to the dance floor. “They will be back in the next year, banging on your door begging to retake your classes. I fear some of them never put much thought to their own work.” Truthless Recluse knew that the Sage would want to go travelling again, and part of him felt a touch anxious over it. Normally such things didn’t bother him – he was prone to wandering off throughout the year on his own whims.

Insight, he learned, was not to be ignored.

Truthless Recluse waited for the music to start, before the Beast led them into the tempo as if he simply knew the steps. Which he did, it was a modern version of a rather archaic dance from… a century odd or ago. Something like that.

“Where do you intend to go this year? To the coast?”

Sage didn’t reply to the Recluse’s comment about his students, besides a brief frown and a huff.

He let the Recluse lead, despite being the one who asked him to dance. Besides, he was… not the best at it - he wasn’t used to having his feet on the ground and it lead to more sliding steps as they danced.

“I’m headed to Sugar’s Kingdom this year - apparently they’re having a music festival there.”
