“My dear, was that… a compliment?”
“More like a fourth of a compliment. You only need three more to have a whole one!”
“It’s a speciality of mine,” he smiled, looking down at the girl. “Saudi Arabia, actually. There were some… personal matters… at home, I had to attend to.”
“Glad to know you’re still keeping secrets, wouldn’t have wanted too much to change.” She shook her head while exhaling a sigh. “I’m kind of surprised you actually came back. Haven’t ruined enough lives yet or something?”
“I know better than to argue with you, Tempest.”
“You really get me.” She nudged him with a hint of a smirk tugging at her lips. “Where did you disappear off to anyway? I haven’t seen you in awhile.”
“Drinks on me tonight, then.”
“Eh... I’ll take it, but only because you’re kind of not totally horrible.”
“And yet, I’d never admit truth to such a claim.”
“I don’t see you denying it either.”
“Why, is my presence alone not a worthy reward for you?”
“I’m going to say no, totally not reward enough. There’s gotta be something that benefits me.”
“Unfortunately so.”
“You’d miss me if I stopped talking.”
“Tempest, dear—but you forget the persuasive techniques I hold.”
“Unless you plan on giving me something, it’s not going to happen.”
“Oh, you flatter me but no, I’m not helping.”
“—this is the part where you shut up.”
“Gross. I don’t shut up.”
“Dance with me! I’m feeling it right now.”
“I do not dance.”
“I don’t really care.”
“Wow, no surprise there. What’s going on with you? You’re nothing but confusing and not to mention the fact you never give solid answers anymore.”
“What do you want?”
“I just want to talk, is that not allowed or something?”
“Okay, awesome.” His hands found her waist, pulling her closer.
“Now let’s get this show on the road.” Isis smiled at him briefly before unhooking her bra for him and tossing it aside.
“Neither,” Aladar smiled, the vibration of her laugh resonating through him. “Same here, could really go for pepperoni.”
“That sounds so good, yes, I want it.” Isis pulled herself on top of him.
“Fuck no, let’s just do it. It’s called a joke—-… but yeah, let’s get pizza afterwards.”
“Exactly, this isn’t my first rodeo.” Isis laughed for a moment before agreeing. “Great, I’m starved.”
“You’re certainly not one to take things slow.”
“Do you really want to sit here and make this mean something or just do it? I mean you’re totally great and we can go get some pizza after but...”
