Let me make myself perfectly clear. Having a carry permit and a small gun is something that will be a reality very soon. My home is protected and my child is protected. With that being said, let me make myself abundantly clear. If I am anywhere, at any time, especially if Piper is with me, and one person, two people or several people attack me in any way shape or form I will shoot you directly in the head. And not one part of me will feel bad for it. I don't care what kind of life you've had. I don't care how unfortunate your childhood was/is, I don't care if you are 15 or 45. I don't care if you are white. I don't care if you are black. I don't care if you are Mexican. I don't care if you are Chinese, Japanese, Muslim, Spanish, Russian, Irish, catholic, christian, dyslexic, rich, poor, short, tall, fat, skinny..... and yes they are all part of the same category because they all don't mean shit to me and not one of those traits factors in to whether or not I will shoot you.
I don't know what's happening to this country where race and religion and social standing is more of a factor in the debate of whether it's okay to defend yourself and your family than the fact your life or your family's life was hanging in the balance. I'm going to be very broad and very blunt here. I have several friends and family members that are cops or in the military. They are all good men. All of them. Yes there are bad cops out there and there are military men and women that deep down aren't good people. But does that fact that they are military or cops factor in to whether or not they are good people. Absolutely fucking not! They were good men before they put on the uniform and they will be good men when they go home and aren't officers anymore but just husbands, fathers, boyfriends (wives and mothers for the brave women that do the same). I really need people to get over this bullshit that your position in society, your background, your city, your neighborhood, your church, your religion, or lack-there-of, or your skin color is any kind of determining factor in whether or not you are a good person. IT’S NOT!
This is a blanket statement and it goes for everyone. Assuming someone is bad or good for that matter, deciding they are in the right or wrong based on their social background, is the same fucking thing as saying “boys are so mean” being the girl that was just dumped. Or “girls are so manipulative” being the boy that was just cheated on….. The word you are looking for is PEOPLE. Humans are evil. Humans are manipulative. Humans are self-destructive, selfish, corrupt, vile, and some of the most vicious creatures on the face of the planet.
But alas you must have the bad to have the good. And for every horrible person I know I have known a great one as well.
Now, back to my original point. When you threaten the safety of my child or me I won’t see you as whatever skin color you may be. I won’t see you as a child. I won’t see you as an adult. I won’t see you as a man or woman. I won’t see you as a Christian or an atheist. I won’t see you as an American or a foreigner.....
I’ll see you as a target.
