they've been a thing for a little while now - there are even cards for specific events and liveries, like for the olympics! delta almost always has some, haha.

Insanely jealous that you have a 757 card, those are going to be rare as hell soon (unfortunately). Theirs are foils too, looks like - well, you get what you pay for there, maybe.

I think these are so neat. I love little things like this that airlines do for people that just like planes. I'm going to be constantly asking for these on every flight I take from now on.

I'm taking a JetBlue flight in July and I can't wait to see what it's called :) I love that they name their planes :)

Anyway my Bluesona is Blue Had To Be There

I missed this ask because I was kneecapped by middle-of-nowhere Utah WiFi for a week but it makes me happy. I agree, naming your planes is one of the easiest things an airline can do to get me to like them and I really enjoy the eternal possibility of ending up on Bada Bing Bada Blue.

The idea of bluesonas is something I'm almost frustrated I didn't come up with myself. And I'm also frustrated that Blue Monday is taken already because that would have been my choice. Maybe...Blue Process. Like due process. But blue. (The process is painting.)

I spent some time chatting with the flight attendants and a deadheading pilot and they seemed to like my energy enough that they left me with a few gifts...and apparently there are now airliner trading cards.

A bit of a strange choice for Universes Beyond, but I'm not complaining. I wonder if I can make A321neo work in Pauper...what does everyone think?

If you won't take out your earbuds and pause your podcast when being instructed on your role in the exit row, on a plane which has had pressurization issues in the past, and get mad when other people try to get your attention, you are scum. Hope this helps!

I am super chill about air travel. The planes don't stress me. The flight crew don't stress me. The cabin crew don't stress me. I trust the plane and crew with all my heart.

Other passengers unfortunately seem intent on making my experience as bad as they can manage to make up for it. I trust the crew in an emergency situation. I am scared shitless of other passengers in an emergency situation. The amount of disgruntled resentment and blithe malignant stupidity contained within the average airline passenger is impossible to quantify. Everyone around me is slightly inconvenienced in ways inevitable as a concession for the fact that we can get in a giant metal thing and go from Las Vegas to Boston in less than five hours with essentially no risk to our safety. As a result of this they seem to decide that anyone not being miserable is a personal affront to them. People have to pay attention to one announcement and decide they want both me and themself dead. These people are chomping at the bit to get their shit out of the overhead bins and clog the aisles and inflate life vests while still inside the plane. They get told to stow their laptop during takeoff and go Cosmo? Wanda? I hope everyone involved in an air disaster dies no matter what and also goes to hell

Literally the only thing about flying that makes me genuinely nervous. Other passengers. Regular world.

I think it should be acceptable for flight attendants to tell passengers "in the event of a crash I hope that you specifically die".

We were delayed for a while because of a pressurization test but we're finally about to take off. I hope CompleMints to the Chef is feeling better. I like airports more than most people but I've spent seven hours here now and I'd really like to be home instead of at LAS right now :')

Literally saw Until We Mint Again getting towed over to C at BOS from the hanger like less than an hour ago lmaooo. I saw your photo and was like *Leonardo dicaprio pointing meme*

I love knowing that whenever I'm at the airport there's a chance this happens. And that you noticed and remembered what Jets Blue you saw.

I LOVED her btw, the Mint/NEO cabins JBU has are some of the best out there. Though admittedly I did benefit from emergency exit legroom as well.
