Trust was a big word for Rey, even for little moments like this. She waited for a couple of seconds before answering Ahyung. “…yes. I trust you. I think that you would do good with her part. Also, if you’re worried, then you have to remember that the lines were a little bit more evenly distributed among the members during the debut, so it wouldn’t be super burdensome.” Rey gave Ahyung a small smile of reassurance.

“i supposed you’re right....i just.....she raps a bit doesn’t she? wouldn’t that be better for dambi?” ahyung sighed deeply-- it seemed like she was talking herself out of being able to do it. she just never expected to be trusted with a part like hyolyn’s.

Rey couldn’t be happier over the fact that she’d been paired with Addie, Bambi, and Choko. Sure, Choko wasn’t that great of a dancer and Rey didn’t know Addie that well, but they were all below her in ranking, and to her, that gave her the authority to appoint herself at the leader. The moment they were all in the same room, Rey began talking at a mile a minute, barely letting herself breathe, let alone allow anyone else to get a word in. “So Haze basically just disbanded and people are nostalgic, so that means all eyes will be on us. So if we’re bad, we’re all dead, and if we’re good, we’re going to get a lot of votes. Someone should come up with a cool group name for us to say every time Haze says their group name in Push Push. I think Choko could handle Yein’s parts, since no one else here was trained in rap. Addie, I think you’ll be good with Hyolyn’s parts. Then that leaves Dambi and me for Yoora or Dasom’s parts. I would kind of prefer Yoora’s, but I’m okay with giving it up if you guys think it’s better for the group. Any questions?”

Ahyung had never been one to take charge, though when you’re repressed for most of your life, that kind of makes sense-- taking orders were better than making them. She was happy to let Rey take the reins. She was also happy to get Push Push-- she was still new to the industry and was still learning all of the history and older music, but Haze was one that she knew for sure.

Upon hearing Rey’s breakdown, Ahyung’s eyes widened. “I......you’d really trust me with Hyolyn’s part?” she asked, admittedly a little shocked. “I mean, I’d...I’d love to if you’d like to give it to me and I think I can do it it’s just.....usually big parts go to higher ranks and Hyolyn kind of had a monopoly on Haze, y’know?”
