▼ BREAKING: Poet and Eliza Kim Form Left Music Group, Sign Creed’s Tam Kiyoung

Eliza Kim and Kwon Daeil have both been influential names in the industry in the past decade-- Eli as one of Radioactive Entertainment’s most prominent choreographers, and Poet as  DS Media’s leading producer. Many people were surprised when Eliza was passed up for Radioactive’s Head Choreographer position when it opened up, and many have wondered about Poet’s position, but early this morning, Dispatch reporters found that both have terminated their positions with their respective companies with a bigger plan in store.

In a press conference held with media personnel, the pair revealed that they were set to open their own label-- a small R&B and hip hip label called Left Music Group. Eli confirmed that her old dance crew, Fusion, would now be operating under the new company, and that while she will be working under Left Music Group, she will continue to choreograph for idol groups across the country when hired. There have been rumors of Poet breaking away from DS to work independently throughout the entirety of his career, and finally, it seems as though it is happening.

While Left Music Group is independently funded and run, the pair also stated that they will be partnering with Alpha Records for help with booking music and variety shows, which will in turn help Alpha’s increasingly tight budget. Statistics from the end of last year showed that Alpha’s savings were at an all time low after debuting Echoes, so the partnership will surely benefit them as much as it will LMG. 

While they did not reveal who they have signed, rumor has it that Creed member and Spotlight trainee Tam Kiyoung has terminated his trainee contract with the big three company, and many anonymous sources claim that he has signed with Poet and Eli, though that has yet to be confirmed. While Poet has parted ways with DS, he will still continue to act as a producer on Unpretty Rapstar Volume 3 until the season wraps up.

▼ Ex-Haze Members to Re-Debut as Female Insomnia

When Haze debuted last month, the industry was shocked, but rumors started to fly when two of the four members signed with DS, and now, those rumors seem to be about to be proven right. Late this morning, DS officials addressed the media, announcing that while a debut date hasn’t been set yet, Yein and Yoora are preparing to debut as a duo-- Venus.

The staff insisted that Yein and Yoora were both working hard to prepare, and that while they are a duo made up of former group members, they will differ from their now-brother group Insomnia. A debut concept is still being decided on, and while music production is already underway, the debut won’t happen soon-- at the very least, it will happen after Yein is done with filming for Unpretty Rapstar Volume 3.
