“I don’t mind the image, honestly. And I don’t think I’ve ever worn anything that wasn’t a pair of shorts or a miniskirt on stage before, at least not since I stopped working as Ilyoon’s backup dancer. I’d be happy to try out whatever look you think would work.”

“I had a chick friend named Spencer when I lived in America. And a dude in one of my dance classes was named Casey. It’s not all that uncommon. I think a lot of parents just pick names they like, which is what I did.”

“is it something that comes up a lot with international fans, though? like do they ask you about how you got your name and why it’s a boy name?”
“What? No. You’re the only person who’s ever asked me this before. I don’t think any of the fans actually care that much about why I chose a guy’s name instead of just going by my own.”

“Uh, no?” Jinri laughed, giving him a look. “If I meet anyone on the street who doesn’t know who I am, I just tell them my name is Jamie. It’s the name I used when I lived in America, anyway. I didn’t start using James until I joined Radioactive.”

“What’s the big deal about a ‘golden’ birthday anyway?” Yerin wondered aloud. “Should I just be celebrating being even older than the rest of my members now?”
“Getting older is fun. I mean, the celebrating part is fun. The aging isn’t so bad.”

“I draw the line at assault. He’s way bigger than I am and there’s no way I could take him in a fight. If you need someone to fight, ask Ky, she’s like eight feet tall.”

“part of me’s glad i’m not a full idol. a lot less people try to touch me at airports and i’m okay with that.”
“I think it’s easier to go by mostly unnoticed if you’re a soloist. I can’t imagine trying to get through security with a group as big as Sparkle or something. They probably draw a huge crowd.”
