Whatever you want it to, really! You can mean it as in the colour silver, or as the metal. Coins, if you go that route. Like the others, the prompts aren't supposed to mean one singular thing persay but to inspire you to create something
1. Under no circumstances are you permitted violate the Do Not Want list of your recipient. This rule is the most enforced, and breaking this will get you banned from the subsequent exchange or exchanges depending on the extent of the violation.
2. Fics must be at least 1500 words, and artwork must be complete.
“Complete” means completed to your ability; every artist has a different style, and thus this just means finished to the artist’s ability. Black/white pieces are allowed if they meet standards of polish.
3. Life comes up, and you may need to drop out. Please let me know before the drop-out deadline if this winds up applying to you. New this year: posting will now be over a period instead of a single day; you can post anytime during the week.
4. NSFW content is allowed. However, NSFW of characters that are minors is not allowed (e.g. Beacon arc RWBY + JNPR) and incest/pseudo-incest (e.g. Ruby/Yang & Ruby/Qrow) are not allowed. Relationships where one character is a minor and one character is a significantly older adult are also not allowed (e.g. Ruby/Ozpin). However, aging up characters is okay.
5. The following ships are not allowed due to being too common to be considered rarepairs: Whiterose (Ruby/Weiss), Bumbleby (Blake/Yang), Renora (Ren/Nora), Arkos (Jaune/Pyrrha), Fair Game (Qrow/Clover), Nuts and Dolts (Ruby/Penny), Rosegarden (Ruby/Oscar), and Blacksun (Blake/Sun).
Polyamorous relationships including these are permitted, however (e.g. Blake/Yang/Sun or Jaune/Weiss/Ruby).
6. Most importantly, have fun! This is meant to unite the rarepair shipping communties and feed each of our individual desires for more content of our rarepairs.

The sunset cast the sky into bloody hues. May trekked up the sand dunes, the memorial not far from the city’s gates, but she still cursed the shift of sand beneath her boots and lingering heat shimmering in the air. Her aura prevented sunburns, but the desert heatwaves still slowly sapped her reserves.
At the dune’s crest, she found a lone figure standing before the memorial—the focus of her search. The desert wind whipped white hair loose from its customary bun. May heaved a sigh. Even with aura, a Schnee’s pale ass was going to get skin cancer sooner rather than later.
When she wasn’t fighting Grimm or attending secretive meetings with Qrow, that kid Oscar, and Headmaster Theodore, Winter was out here, staring at the memorial until exhaustion forced her back to the city or her scroll lit with another distress call.
May knew because she had been the one to drag Winter away the last five times. Stubborn godsdamned Atlesians.
The rigid military posture didn’t twitch when May approached. She stopped just behind Winter. The wind hadn’t died down, and for a brief moment, May wondered if it were fueled by the maiden powers.
But Winter’s powers—her magic—always carried the crisp taste of fresh Solitas snowfall that made May’s breath catch and her heart yearn for Mantle. For home.
Home was long gone—buried under Atlas’s corpse according to Robyn and Qrow’s report—but Winter remained in front of her. More in body than in mind, as Winter still hadn’t acknowledged May’s presence.
May sighed again and crossed her arms. “Are we really doing this routine again?”
Now Winter flinched. In another life, May would have smirked at getting a reaction out of a Schnee, but now her heart ached. Her arms dropped, and she placed one hand on Winter’s shoulder.
“C’mon, it doesn’t do anyone any good for you to be standing out here. Being a Huntress means getting some sleep. Can’t fight Grimm if you pass out.”
Huntress. They were both Huntresses, and May would remind Winter she didn’t have to be a soldier or even a Maiden. They were both more than what Atlas had made them.
May moved to stand beside Winter, but caught sight of thick, dark words that defaced the memorial. Her stomach dropped.
DON’T COME BACK.
Winter’s handwriting. May knew those tight lines even when mutated into a scrawl by anger. By grief.
“Winter, I . . .”
What words could offer as comfort? May found none. They had both lost their homes, but brick and mortar could be rebuilt. Winter had lost her sister.
Henry had survived the fall of Atlas, but the blood relations May had lost didn’t compare. They weren’t her family, and she didn’t mourn them. The Happy Huntresses were all the family she needed, and simply imaging the loss of Fiona, Joana, and Robyn tore a hole inside her heart.
“This is not a situation where everyone wins.”
One of the last things May had spoken to the heiress, a harsh reality May had thought Weiss and the other kids hadn’t understood. But while May had been right in her words, she had been wrong about about the kids. They were Huntresses as well, and if they couldn’t save everyone, they had still sacrificed their lives to save as many people as they could.
“Let’s just go.”
Winter finally turned away form the memorial, and May opened her arms. Winter collapsed into them without a sound. They held each other until the sun set and left them in the dark.

There are plenty of knights in Hallownest. Meeting one you know isn't unlikely, but it's rare, which Jaune wants to say is the only reason he hesitates when he stumbles on Cardin. The other knight is backed into a corner, doing what he can to shield himself from the venom being spit at him. Jaune doesn't know why anyone would be here, but thoughts of that are secondary to what is before him. It's clear Cardin is swiftly flagging. A part of Jaune doesn't want to help. It's an instinct that makes him feel guilty as hell, but is there nonetheless. He advances forward the next second, because of course he's going to help.
