Sorry to see you go if you do... Really love your blog. Xx
Please tell me who you are before I go? I'd love that
Think I'm going to leave this blog, at least for now. I'm finished with vague blogging and anon hate and elitist RP blogs. I'll be around somewhere, if you can find me.
Are you still here?/@rxbelfrye
Shay needn’t have worried. During the night, persuaded by a warm bed and his own exhaustion, Jacob had stripped to his breeches and shirt before crawling into bed at the other side of Shay.
Curled up tightly, looking almost small and vulnerable, the Assassin was still asleep, eyes red and puffy with dark bags underneath them.
Shay sat up and looked over at him, he reached and brushed some hair behind Jacobs ear. Then reached and pulled the blanket over him, Jacob looked like he needed sleep and lots of it. Shay worried about his health, he took a breath and stood making his way over to the fireplace and putting in another log. He wanted the room warm and comfortable, he then walked back over to the bed and sat on the bed once again.
Feeling a blanket over him, Jacob shuddered and curled further underneath the blanket with a sigh. At least it was warm.
The Assassin rolled over and carefully relaxed in the bed, glad that he was safe for now. That he could sleep.
Jacob pulled back and looked at her, wiping away a stray tear. “Evie. Just answer me one simple question; do you love Henry Green, aka Jayadeep Mir?” he asked simply, smiling at Evie gently.
Evie bit her lip and nodded, wiping her eyes and ignoring the fact that they were in the middle of a crowded station. “I do, I love him so much Jacob, but I’m…just so scared of saying that I will marry him, because I’m not sure”
“If you love him, why aren’t you sure?” Jacob asked quietly. “I mean, I’ve never been in this situation, but I...I don’t understand why you won’t say yes if you love him,” he whispered quietly, resting his forehead against hers.
The words made something feel…strange inside Jacob, but he pushed it aside as he held Evie closer, kissing her head. “That’s fantastic, Evie,” he whispered. “I mean, you’ve been flirting enough,” he teased weakly, stroking her hair carefully. “Have you given him an answer yet? You shouldn’t keep him waiting”.
“No” Evie sniffed and shook her head against his shoulder, swallowing heavily and letting out a breath before she spoke again “He knows that I need to think about it, it’s a big thing. I just…I don’t know”
Jacob pulled back and looked at her, wiping away a stray tear. “Evie. Just answer me one simple question; do you love Henry Green, aka Jayadeep Mir?” he asked simply, smiling at Evie gently.
Jacob simply gave Evie a watery smile. “I wouldn’t know what to say,” he whispered, holding her close, not caring about the other people around them. “I know that you love him, and he clearly loves you. You’re good for each other, and I want you to be happy,” he murmured. “If being happy means going to India, then…you should go”.
“He asked me to marry him” Evie whispered as she clung to Jacob, burying her face in his shoulder and gripping at his coat, her eyes burning with tears. She didn’t want to leave Jacob, the thought of that made her heart ache, he was her twin, her soul mate, they hadn’t been apart for more than a day since they were conceived. She didn’t know what to do.

You shouldn’t keep him waiting”.
When he finally caught sight of her, Jacob pushed his way through the crowds towards her, looking at her and hating to see the tears that he’d caused. “Evie…I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that,” he said quietly, taking her hands in his gently. “I just…I know you love Henry, I can see that now. I just thought that after Starrick was gone, it would go back to being just the two of us. You know, the Unstoppable Frye twins, us against the world,” Jacob whispered. “And all you keep talking about is India and I am terrified that you will leave me”.
Evie licked her lips again and gave Jacob a small smile, squeezing his hands and shaking her head “We need to talk about this, Jacob” she told him quietly, glancing back to the train again and sighing “Before it all gets too much”
Jacob simply gave Evie a watery smile. “I wouldn’t know what to say,” he whispered, holding her close, not caring about the other people around them. “I know that you love him, and he clearly loves you. You’re good for each other, and I want you to be happy,” he murmured. “If being happy means going to India, then...you should go”.
“Evie, wait–” But she’d already gone. Jacob carefully set down his book and sat up, letting out a deep breath. He hadn’t meant to shout, or swear, but everything had just gotten on top of him. Ever since they’d found the Shroud and stopped Starrick, Henry had become a permanent fixture everywhere. Jacob had thought it would go back to being just the two of them. The Unstoppable Frye Twins. But apparently it wasn’t meant to be.Â
Biting his lip, Jacob tugged on his coat and hat before he stepped off the train, looking around to try and find Evie on the platform.Â
“Evie?” he shouted. “Evie!”
Evie could heard Jacob’s voice, she always could over the crowds, and not for the first time did she wonder if there was a deeper connection between them. She stopped walking, turning back to see if Jacob would catch up with her or not, furiously wiping her eyes and taking another deep breath to calm herself. She couldn’t believe he had spoken to her that way.
When he finally caught sight of her, Jacob pushed his way through the crowds towards her, looking at her and hating to see the tears that he’d caused. “Evie...I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that,” he said quietly, taking her hands in his gently. “I just...I know you love Henry, I can see that now. You know, the Unstoppable Frye twins, us against the world,” Jacob whispered. “And all you keep talking about is India and I am terrified that you will leave me”.
“Then fucking go! You’ve clearly got nothing here to make you stay!” Jacob shouted, not even looking up from his book. His hands gripped at the sides tightly as he struggled to keep calm, to keep everything under the surface. “Fucking take your fucking perfect boyfriend and fucking leave!”
Evie took a step back at Jacob shouted at her, he never ever spoke to her like that, he never swore at her like that either. She swallowed heavily, her eyes burning as she licked her lips nervously and nodded, lowering her head so he couldn’t see her tears if he happened to look up. “I’ll…” she cleared her throat when her voice broke “I’ll stay at the mansion tonight” Evie continued, turning and walking quickly out of the carriage.
“Evie, wait--” But she’d already gone. Jacob carefully set down his book and sat up, letting out a deep breath. He hadn’t meant to shout, or swear, but everything had just gotten on top of him. “Evie?” he shouted. “Evie!”
Jacob just rolled his eyes and turned back to his book; it was all she’d talked about recently. The Indian Brotherhood. “If you like the Indian Brotherhood so much, why don’t you go and fucking live with them?” he grumbled under his breath. He knew it was childish, but he felt like he was losing Evie.
Evie had to bite her lip to stop herself from snapping at Jacob, taking a deep breath and then letting it out. “Perhaps I will” she then commented, shaking her head  and shrugging.Â
The younger twin just scoffed again. “No thanks, I’ll keep myself from looking like an idiot, thankyou very much,” he grumbled.Â
Jacob bit his lip, looking at Evie; Henry made her happy, but he couldn’t help but feel that he was changing her.
“I hope you weren’t just insinuating that Henry looks like an idiot in his clothes” Evie commented with a pointed look at her brother “These are the sorts of clothes that the Indian Brotherhood wear, I imagine they can hide all sorts of things in the robes”

Jacob just laughed. “I didn’t mean…I mean where are your robes? You look ridiculous! What’s with the pointy shoes?” he scoffed.
Evie giggled and looked down at the clothes that she was wearing, then up to Jacob again “I thought I would wear something different today, and they are very comfortable as much as they don’t suit me. You should try them on” she smirked.
The younger twin just scoffed again. “No thanks, I’ll keep myself from looking like an idiot, thankyou very much,” he grumbled.Â

“What the hell are you wearing? You look like Greenie!”

“They’re called clothes, Jacob dear, people wear them to cover up their nakedness”
Jacob just laughed. “I didn’t mean...I mean where are your robes? You look ridiculous! What’s with the pointy shoes?” he scoffed.

Shay awoke the next day, he had slept through an entire night. He hadn’t done that in a long time. He stretched a bit and rubbed some sleep out of his eyes, he reached and took his hair down from its trademark knot and tried to make some sense of the tangles. He sighed and just gave up and put it back up, he could really use a hot bath at this point. He stood and gave his back a good crack as he went to the window to glance out of it. Then it hit him, had he stayed? A small flush worked its way onto Shay’s cheeks.
Shay needn't have worried.
One day I'll be able to go to sleep without crying to get there. Today is not that day.
