“Hey!” Rora sputtered and swatted Ryan’s hands away with a giggle. “And normally I can handle the sight of injuries, but that one just looks nasty.” she replies with a grimace and blushes lightly when Ryan calls her out about having band-aids. “No, it’s just that Axl gets hurt constantly and my sister is an athlete…you do the math.” she says and hands the first aid item over to him. “Seriously though, are you alright?”

Ryan looked down at his wound, trying to figure out why it looked so bad to her. “Hum…” Ripped off skin, flesh out. He got it. “ Shouldn’t we clean it up before putting a band aid on it? I mean, I’m not from grey’s anatomy but that just seems right” He laughed a bit and nodded. “I am. Thanks. Not the first time it happened. probably not the last either.”

The brunette looked up when he heard the voice, rolling his eyes at the question. “More like pissed off, but sure,” he replied, rolling his neck a little and hoping it’d somehow unknot the tension in his neck and shoulders. “Lacrosse,” he told him with a sigh. “We’re down a player and our second stringers are complete shit. You’d think they weren’t even participating when we have practice or gym sessions,” he muttered and shook his head. He frowned in confusion at the blond’s words, before his eyes landed on the box. “Oh. Thanks, probably something from my grandmother,” he said, pulling the box off of the table and stashing it under it. “I did say thank you, you don’t need to act so butthurt about it.”

So, Drew was annoyed and everybody around had to face it. Bullshits. He wasn’t even trying to make any efforts, and Ryan wondered if he would act the same if he was a girl. Probably not. Ryan nodded as he explained it was Lacross, and his explanations were totally right. “Isn’t it coach’s job to think of it? Let’s face it, he’s paid for it” Their coach was a dumbass anyways, their team was okay, they won, but they were far away from being the best either. “Need any help?” He asked with a shrug before rolling his eyes. “You don’t need to act so pissed of either.” He paused taking a long sigh, ran a hand through his blonde hair. “Why you don’t you study in France?” After all, his father was french, he had no idea if the boy has a mother or another parent anywhere, but french boarding school seemed more attractive  than hawthorne. Not like they couldn’t afford it.

Rora was currently doing her homework for her classes when she heard someone walk into room. “First of all, can you knock next time? And second of all, I’m doing my homework, but is there anything you need?” she asks while still answering questions. “If you’re here for any type of help on homework or tutoring you’re going to have to wait for a little bit.”

Ryan rose both his brows and stopped moving as the girl started to growl at him. He looked around, wondering if she really talked to him. “Hum… the door was opened.” He cocked his head, not really appreciating the tone she was using towards him.  The blonde man stepped in and dropped a pack on her bed. “I don’t know why I keep getting everyone’s mail at my dorm”

Ade giggled again “did you have something in mind Wylde?” She asked and rubbed her eyes once more with a yawn that sounded like a cat mewling “I.. I mean how realistic do you want here?”

Ryan looked around the room : if he had been alone in here, he would have taken his time checking it out and just ‘steal’ something irrelevant which just proved he sneaked in here. “Mmm, how about a picture?”  He said, pointing at the wall where polaroid pics were pinned on.

Ryan and Poetry // Headcanons

- Ryan is a bit embarrassed to admit he’s passionate about poetry. It’s rather old fashioned, with old words as well. People from his age don’t used to like it, they are more into novels and lyrics. So Ryan doesn’t really talks about it unless he can find some attention in the other person.

- Everyone seems to know what they want to be in their future, Ryan is probably the only one who has no idea about it. He’d like to write poetry, but he is not sure it’s still a real job even if he was good at it, which he doesn’t think is the case. It’s not because he loves it that he is good at it, he thinks. Though, he doesn’t any other interest that would bring desire for a specific job.

- His favorite author is Walt Whitman. Though he really likes Sylvia Plath, probably because she’s his grandmother’s favorite. He also loves Dead Poet Society.

“Oh my god! Nobody turned up to band practice and the concert is in three days. You’d think my members would be more professional? Nope. And on top of that, my head is pounding like a drum. No pun instead. I swear!”

“What’s up, man?” Ryan rose a brow, tilted his head with a slight smile before taking a chair, turning it around to straddle it in front of the young man. “You have band?” He was surprised, Luca didn’t really look like the band’s style or rock star. “So what, you have a concert soon?”

Ryan’s disease // Headcanons

- Ryan was born with a HCM (A cardiomyopathy is a disease that affects the muscle of the heart). He tries to hide his disease (and for now it works) but the treatment is really hard to handle.  The symptoms of HCM include dyspnea (shortness of breath), chest pain (sometimes known as angina), uncomfortable awareness of the heart beat (palpitations), lightheadedness, fatigue, fainting (called syncope) and sudden cardiac death. 

- Ryan spent hours, days, weeks and months at the hospital when he was little. As his mother worked, his grandmother looked after him, making him read poetry and her favorite authors out loud. Forcing him to learn to read better as well.

- The first time Ryan had a crisis, his mother had no idea what was happening. She brought him to the emergencies and found out he was suffering from HCM. It’s hereditary.

- Ryan’s treatment is quite expensive. It’s pills to take to be healthy and more in shape. If he has to do sports or any physic stuff, he needs to take the pills. However he’ll be weaker, not at his best performance.

- Currently Ryan stops his treatment when he’s attending LaCrosse practices. He doesn’t want to look weak or useless on the field. Augustin is the only one to know something’s up.

- Ryan has an appointment with a doctor every month for a check up of his disease. Which would explain his absences.

“I’m not trying to get you to join up, but just to realize that you’re a better player than you think you are.” She replies. “You got to quit self deprecating yourself and realize that you’re actually pretty good on the field, and all coach’s are jackasses.” Zephyr laughs and shakes her head. “We’re doing alright. We managed to win our first game by ten points which definitely needs to keep up for the next two games.”

“You think so?” He wondered how she could know about it, he didn’t recall himself playing in front of her lately. “Maybe we should set a game and see my level I guess, you could judge that someday. I just hope I’m better at lacrosse to be honest”. She was probably right and he nodded “Thanks for the advice… I just play for fun you know, I don’t expect to be a pro in any sports anyways.” Ryan clapped a little to congratulate her. “Really? Dang, I need to see you play the next game. What position are you for now?”

“They were just a pain in the ass, at least, that’s what the girls I’ve talked to told me.”

“Oh God, this is so embarrassing,” Gus shook his head and looked up at Ryan, before bursting out with laughter. “I think I’m quite good, guess we will see at the practice but hey! Your support will mean a lot!” he added with a smile.

Ryan nodded, agreeing they might be assholes for sure. Ryan rolled his eyes at his friend. “This is only embarrassing because you blush like a little girl.” He pouted at him to tease him more. “That’s cute”. Ryan grinned. “I’ll mostly be here to support the girls, you know, like a dude cheerleader. Also, swimsuits” He shrugged one shoulder with a laugh.

Thoughts on Aurora?

She kind of makes me think of Axl somehow. She’s a dork with her onesie pajamas and all. But she’s less in trouble than him for sure. No really I like her, she’s fun to be with. You kinda want to protect her too, she’s so tiny,

Ryan’s family // Headcanons

- Ryan never met his father. Her mother keeps telling him he’s been afraid of raising a child but he knows the truth from his grandmother : the relationship between his parents wasn’t serious at all. Ryan happened to be an accident. - Though, Ryan suffers of HCM and got it from his father. Deep down he’s angry not to be able to relate on him, so that he could help him go through this disease together. He only left giving him the worst thing ever.

- Ryan was raised by both his mother and grandmother. His mother not having serious jobs, just trying to survive here and there, he was babysit by his granny. He shares a strong bonds with her. She’s the one who introduced him to poetry as he spent time at the hospital.

- His mother eventually found a job, but is now decided to give Ryan the best education ever, even if it implied working late and having a lot of shifts. Ryan is used to not having load of money and feels a bit aside around all those rich people.

- Being raised by two incredible women, and saw how bad his father left her mother, Ryan has a lot of respect towards women.

- Ryan has a little sister, Alicia. She’s six years old. His mother had a relationship with the girl’s father for two years before they split up. The relationship between them was healthy, but the man could never accept Ryan, nor his hard times being sick.
