welp here i am, alive and trying this whole rp thing again. i basically did a reset and unfollowed everyone i was following. im going to try to keep my follow list to only people i interact with, otherwise ill get overwhelmed again. if you want to plot / write, send me a dm either here or on discord (my username is ajt#1680 ). im looking forward to getting back to this :)

Kharon watches as she comes to sit next to him, blinking at her as she does so. Not really expecting the company if he were being honest, however he was not about to complain about it. Still smiling as he adjusts his position so he could look at her without much strain.
“Well, we are all alone at one point or another in our lives. Even surrounded by a lot of people we can be alone. I am not too bothered by it, at least not right now. I am trying to just take some time for myself…. to think.” He shrugs, “… and you’re here now, so not that alone anymore.”
”Are you asking me if you are okay?” He questions, mostly confused but generally not too bothered by it. “Yeah, but now you are sitting with me… do you need to think too? There is room for two.” @ryanfuckingcarter
She could agree that her presence had, in fact, made him become less alone. It’s a simple fact, and she nods slightly in assent.
“No, I-” A frustrated huff escapes her. She had not, in fact, been asking him. Just taken aback by his apparent concern. “I’m okay.” She repeats what she’d said, firmer this time, more confident - or less patient. Hard to tell which.
“I don’t really like thinking. Brings up too many bad things, honestly. Thanks for the invite, though, I guess.”
The man was strange, that much was certain. But Ryan liked him.

In-depth Questions for Writers of Angels or Angel-like Characters

(1.) What species/type is your character? (e.g. cherub, astral being, common angel, archangel, seraph, etc.) Name one physical characteristic or personality trait of your character that identifies them as that species or type.
(2.) Is your character canon or an OC? If they are a canon character, what is your character from and why did you feel compelled to write them? If they are an OC, what was your inspiration for creating them? What made you decide to bring your character to Tumblr?
(3.) Does your character adhere to any sort of pre-established religion (Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, etc.) or canon mythos (from a book, movie, anime, etc.)? If yes, how much of it enters into your writing of your muse? If not, are there other supporting characters or background information that you’ve created for your muse?
(4.) How many pairs of wings does your character have? Describe them physically. Does your character have an emotional attachment to their wings? Could your character survive major injuries to their wings (e.g. breaking bones or even having one severed?) Do they enjoy flying? Can they retract their wings and make them invisible to humans, or are they always physically present?
(5.) Angels in various religions are not always good and kind guardians or helpers. Some are vengeful, violent, or rebellious. What is your character’s personality like and is it within the realm of what one might expect from their particular species/culture?
(6.) In modern cinema and books, Christian angels have struggled with obedience to their god. Some blindly follow orders, some follow orders reluctantly or bitterly, and other choose to defy their orders. Does your character answer to a higher power or powers? What is their relationship with this higher power? Are they an obedient follower or do they feel oppressed? If they are obedient, is that obedience forced or voluntary? If they do not serve a higher power, is there some moral code or other set of rules they follow or do they just wing it (no pun intended, haha)?
(7.) Is your character capable of any magic (e.g. healing, smiting evil, etc.)? If so, where does the power come from, themselves, their environment, or a higher power? If not, what is their opinion of magic? Would they ever want to be capable of it if they could learn?
(8.) Does your character get along with others of their kind? What about with humans? Are there any creatures, people, or beings your character will not associate with? Why or why not?
(9.) One significant aspect of angel lore is the concept of the Fall. Is it possible for your character to fall from grace? If so, are they worried about that potentially happening to them? If they were to go through a Fall, what would happen to them? Are there physical or spiritual changes or consequences that would result? Is atonement possible after a Fall?
(10.) Does your character fight? If so, does your character use weapons? Wear armor? Do they take on a leadership role during a battle or are they more solitary or low ranking? Describe your character’s fighting style. If your character does not fight, what is the reason (fear, pacifism, etc.)? Is there any situation in which they could be made to fight?
(11.) What is your character’s default time period? Have you ever written your character outside of that time period? If so, what things about your character change according to the time they live in? If not, would you ever consider writing them in a different time period?
(12.) What is the extent of your character’s natural potential lifespan? Short, long? Are they immortal? Invincible? Can they be killed, and if so, what are the most effective methods? What is their life expectancy? For example, is it likely that they will live a long life or do dangers in their world or personal life make it likely that they will die before their time? If your character may die young, how do they feel about that? Does it affect how they live their lives? If they are immortal and/or invincible, do they consider that a blessing or a curse?
(13.) In various lore, angels can be gendered, genderless, genderfluid, or hermaphroditic. What is your character’s physical gender? Is that the same as or different from the gender they identify as mentally and personality-wise? What is your character’s sexual orientation? In some cases, angels are forbidden to mate with humans (or even just mortals in general) and may be punished for doing so. What is your character’s opinion on mating with mortals? Would they ever do it themselves? Are they accepting of half-blooded characters or do they shun them?
(14.) Angels can be pretty damn arrogant sometimes, depending on the mythos/religion involved. Does your character think they are better than others simply because they are an angel or are of an angelic nature? If so, does this perceived superiority manifest as arrogance or as something more constructive? If not, why?
(15.) Introduce us to another character with which yours is very familiar. This can be another muse on Tumblr, a character from their canon material, or a character in their background story. What is/was the relationship between the two characters? What effects does/did this character have on your character’s life? Are they still in contact with this character? If so, how do you see their relationship changing over time? If not, what caused the separation?

“Tsk tsk, pet.” Toby stalked towards the girl, growing more fed up with her by the second. “Someone is going to have to learn her place.” He slammed his fist into the wall near her head, barely noticing the pain that exploded in his hand and sent shock waves up his arm.
It wasn’t the first time he’d lost his temper with someone this week, hell, in the past few days. But he’d had Declan to take it out on. He’d thought he was going to be different with this girl, take his time in torturing her slowly, but her attitude was driving him insane and he longed to take a knife to her.
Patience, Tobias, he chided himself. He shook his head to clear it, then stepped closer to the girl, pressing his face right up to hers, their noses touching. “Say that one more time,” he threatened. At this rate, he was going to push her down those fucking stairs.
Ryan couldn’t stop herself from flinching hard when the man launched his fist at the wall by her head. For a moment, she felt tears welling up behind her eyes, but -- stupid! She never let herself cry. Definitely not now. She wasn’t gonna let him see that. It had to be the drugs in her system, making it hard to control reactions that she usually kept under wraps.
She managed to blink the tears back quickly, and turned her face to look up at Toby, holding back another flinch that threatened her when he got his face so close to hers. Heart racing in her chest, barely able to pull in air, Ryan gulped before speaking again, a slight stutter prefacing her words.
“Fuck. You.” She got out, voice shaking, but nowhere near as much as she’d been expecting it to.

His palm twitched but Toby managed to stop himself from slapping her across the face. Just. But he knew for a fact that if he hit her, with his strength and the sedatives in her system, she would fall to the ground. And then he’d have to drag her upright, and she might hit her head on something, and it really wasn’t worth it.
Instead, he narrowed his eyes at her and brought his hand up to curl around her throat, not quite hard enough to leave a bruise, but hard enough that it would hurt. He’d found that this often worked with pets. “I said,” and here he squeezed, effectively cutting off her air supply momentarily, “get downstairs.”
Using the grip on her throat, he spun them around, Ryan stumbling awkwardly, and pushed her away from him, towards the stairs. “Now!”
Ryan gasped, eyes widening, as the man grabbed her throat. Her hands instantly leapt up to grab his wrist, almost involuntarily, as panic jolted through her chest. She was still out of it enough that her grip was weak, but the sudden electric shock that his touch caused had given her enough energy to maintain it.
She couldn’t, however, respond. The fear had closed up her throat -- it didn’t help when he tightened his fingers and cut off her air for a moment. As Ryan stumbled towards the stairs, she launched her arm out and caught herself on the wall, forearm and shoulder pressed against it, barely keeping herself standing.
“Fuck you!” She repeated, voice breathier and quieter, but more firm than before. She turned, still supporting herself on the wall, and glared at him.

Toby smiled at the sight of Ryan leaning heavily against the door, clearly trying to escape. He shook his head and padded across the hallway to the front door and leaned casually against the wood. “Silly girl,” he chided, “you’re not going anywhere.” He hadn’t bothered to lock the front door, but he made no effort to now. She wasn’t going to be able to leave. Sure, it was impressive that she was still awake; the drugs in her system were enough to take down a large adult and she was, well, tiny. But the sedatives were doing their job regardless, making her movements slow and her mind hazy. She wouldn’t make it ten feet down the road.
“Don’t bother trying to escape.” His tone was still light and playful, sickly sweet honey that dripped off his lips. He was having fun. “None of my last pets ever managed to, and nor will you. So be a good girl and follow me down to your new room.”
Toby didn’t bother yelling or trying to drag her. He knew that Ryan was going to be a tough one to train, but that was going to be a fun little job for later. For now, he was going to get her downstairs. He was positive that Declan was asleep in the upstairs room, but he didn’t really want the kid coming down and annoying him. Toby raised an eyebrow at the girl, who was still swaying on her feet, and locked his gaze with hers. “Downstairs. Now.”
When he got close to her, Ryan turned so she could press herself back against the wall, facing him. Her eyes wouldn’t focus, but she could see his blurred figure, leaning casually against the door she’d just been holding onto. Bitterly, she realised that she’d lost any chance she might have had to escape.
His words sent a chill through her - had he just referred to her as a pet? Doe eyes widened, and the girl shrank even further into the wall. She was terrified now, and the way he was speaking, the words he was using, were reminding her of Him. The unnervingly calm tone and the use of endearments that should have been calming (but instead caused waves of nausea through her stomach) brought her further and further into memories she had managed to avoid for months now.
Though instinct screamed at Ryan to lower her gaze when his eyes met hers, she set her jaw and did all she could to maintain eye contact. She didn’t want to let herself be cowed. She was still unable to focus properly, but she somehow managed to keep her gaze from shifting away from his. Small hands clenched into tight fists by her side, and she forced her chin up slightly.
“Fuck you.” Came slurred words from between clenched teeth.
